      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against United Masters LLC, a music distribution company with whom I have been affiliated as a songwriter and artist. Over the course of my relationship with United Masters, I have submitted nearly 50 original songs, including several pieces of political satire. All of my artwork is original, created solely by me, and includes a satirical depiction of former ********* *****.However, United Masters has repeatedly failed to process one of my covers, alleging that it infringes on a license or copyright. This is a baseless claim, as my artwork falls under the protection of both free speech and fair use doctrine, particularly in the context of satire. Despite my efforts to resolve this issue, United Masters has locked my account, preventing me from submitting any further work. This has caused significant disruption to my creative output and ability to distribute my music.Additionally, I have encountered severe inconsistencies in the metrics reporting for my subscription streams. The metrics displayed on United Masters' website differ markedly from those on their app, with the app often showing significantly higher numbers. This inconsistency undermines the trust and reliability that artists should be able to place in their distribution partners. It also raises serious concerns about the accuracy of their reporting and, consequently, the fairness of their payouts.Furthermore, I have become aware through discussions with other artists and online forums, such as Reddit, that United Masters has a troubling pattern of withholding payments due to artists and failing to release these funds in a timely manner. This is not only unethical but also potentially illegal. After posting this, I am contacting the ***** next.

      Thank you very much for your feedback.Of the 53 releases you have submitted since August 11, it looks like our content review team returned one release for edits because the cover artwork included the likeness of a public figure and the agent who reviewed the release was concerned about the right of publicity. That said, our team does its best to help artists avoid any infringement of third-party rights, which can sometimes be quite complicated (as in the case of publicity rights).However, after discussing it internally, we determined that the agent did not properly follow our guidelines here, and the release in question has now been approved and delivered to music services. We have also reviewed this release with our broader team as an opportunity to improve our processes. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention!And we have reinstated your ability to submit new releases, which had been temporarily removed (as our support team mentioned via email) simply so that we could clarify the issue with the aforementioned release rather than having it continue to be resubmitted without changes and then sent back for edits, which we know can be a frustrating experience. Regarding your concern about analytics, daily streaming data comes directly from Apple Music, Spotify, and ******* and is processed and added to your UnitedMasters account as soon as possible, which sometimes means that one platform (e.g., the mobile app) will be updated more quickly than the other (e.g., the website). This daily streaming data is informational and has no impact on the royalties posted to your account, which are determined by the official reporting we receive from music services (typically, on a monthly basis, although this can vary depending on the music service). But we sincerely apologize for any confusion. That said, I reviewed the data available in Apple Music for Artists and Spotify for Artists and found that it aligns with the current data in your UnitedMasters account (which should be up to date as of August 25 for both Apple and Spotify). But please don't hesitate to contact our support team if you have additional questions or if there's anything else we can help you with.

      Hi ***,I can see that payments were temporarily blocked for your "Gudda Gang" account, as a precaution, because a new PayPal was added to your Wallet on May 5 that didn't match the information in your account.And I can also see an agent on our team responded to your emails on May 25, June 5 and June 6 and asked if you could confirm the email associated with your PayPal.But I'm very sorry if you did not see these emails! If possible, would you mind checking your email settings to ensure that our emails aren't going to your spam folder?And I have just sent you another email about getting this resolved ASAP!

      Nothing but issues since day 1. Innumerable emails back and forth with no resolution. They are unable to fix any issues and it has been 2 years. I have not been paid a cent. Absolutely fraudulent; impressively unethical.

      I haven't received any payments this month I attached a photo for proof that I haven't received any payments after 11/15 but United masters keep saying they sent my funds this month I emailed at least 5 times with no positive results I'm very frustrated and disappointed can you please fix this problem or it will be a much bigger issue thank you

      I cant believe how disrespectful this company is.They violate all rights of an independent artist.Im guessing they feel like independent artist are ******ant so they can take advantage or maybe its just that they think we dont have lawyers or money so they can treat us like trash.They dont communicate with the artist they only have one form of contact which is email and they never answer and if they do answer they give short replies which dont answer the questions

      Terrible company! Terrible ***************** Although I have not been with their company for 4 months the attempt every few days to charge my card $59. I asked them to stop repeatedly and the refuse to stop. They already owe me $389 from royalties. This company has a pattern of taken peoples music down, then keeping their royalties and the post a generic message saying their partners said the artist is using fraudulent streams. This is a complete fabrication from this company. They oppose any form of marketing that is not done directly through their playlists placements. So if you pay for ** or ******** ads, hire a 3rd party promotions company, and your actual make money from streams they have a problem with that! Artist are waking up to the ***

      **************** socks according to my streams and research there not paying us all for our streams. Also my email has been changed my pay pal has been changed mu account has been hacked and stolen. They haven't answered my email in 48 hrs. I would distribute hear any more after this experience they charge the highest and the service is not worth I no now at least. If I stayed and I felt they step up I'll change my review now this sticks..

      If I could give 0 stars I would horrible company . I have canceled my membership with them and they continue to try and acess funds from my account for the membership even after I canceled. They give you a lame excuse like they are so sorry we're updating the account .Then try again next week I have sent them 5 emails asking them to stop trying to acess my funds this is pure FRAUD.
