On October 24th, 2023, I paid Scotty ******************** a total amount of $847 to ship a brand new stove, a refrigerator and i box to the caribbean. I purchased the stove from ********** in the amount of $730.71 along with a fire gage for $39.98. The ******************** company ******** destroyed the stove and gauge and refuse to pay for the stove. I have tried numerous attempt but to no avail. The company promised to ship the stove and deliver in good condition and on time. ****** has has been very disrespectful and rude every time I called about the stove.Initial Complaint

I sent packages from Scotty ********************** ******************** company on 11/26/22 to the island of ********* with a ******************** expectancy of 2 weeks. With the added expense of driving from ******** to ******** we Paid Scotty ********************** ******************** $510.00 cash for 1 pallet holding my packages and still have not received our products in *********. We have called and text numerous times to ******'s ******************** company with no resolution. He has refused to answer our numerous calls and messages or let us know anything about the package. All products that were sent to ********* in my pallet was for my business property in hopes of grand opening December 2022. I personally flew out to ********* to receive the package and finish up the finishing touches for my business and could not retrieve my pallet from the port because he is past due on his port dues. I currently have had to put my business on hold due to the extremally late shipment and have lost thousands of dollars in costs and revenue for my business. There is multiple people that are dealing with this same issue I am having and resolution needs to be had. Scotty ******************** is continuing to scam people out of cash and continuing to ship packages knowingly not able to pay his port dues. Something needs to be done immediately as I have been waiting to receive my packages going on 6 months. I am not able to open my business without this package that was supposed to be delivered no later than the 2 weeks promised from ******************** date.Initial Complaint

I contacted Scottys Caribbean ******************** about ******************** a sofa to St.Kitts. We agreed on a price and pick up date. The pick up date was December 24th. I received a receipt for paying to ship the sofa. I called about a week and a half later to get an update on when it would arrive in St Kitts. I got no answer, it seemed as though all the numbers were out of service. I finally got into contact with the driver who picked up the sofa on december 24th, he stated there was a delay in ******************** the sofa and it would arrive in 2 weeks. However, the person who is receiving the sofa in st.Kitts contacted the ******************** agent in st.kitts( Tropical Shipping) and was told that the sofa was already sent to ***** and is being held in the warehouse along with other packages sent by Scotty ******************** because he has not paid his fees for the items to be released. I have tried contacting the business number and his personal cell many times and no response. I will attach a copy of the receipt. I am reaching out to get this situation rectified.Initial Complaint

I shipped a barrel with him on August 25. It's held up on the port because he is not paying the carrier. I made several attempts begging him to pay the carrier. It's one lie after the other. The barrel is there accumulating storage fee. Every time I speak to the office I am advised to collect it the following day. When you call the company it can't be collected because he did not pay the carrier. The company in ******** said this is his normal method of operations. Take your money. Scotty ********************** picked up my 2 large barrels and 1 large box (* items total) addressed to ********************* & going to ******** on May 10th. I paid $*15 and the value of the items I shipped is $2,000 USD. This included medical supplies and medications for my moms dementia- as she lives in ********. I was told that it would be in its destination (****** ********) in 2 weeks. It is now July 7 and my items still have not left *******. Ive called ********************** ******************** every week and Im told its still in the ******* not getting any answers. I spoke with to The owner Scotty * weeks ago and he said they would be shipped that week, and that he would call me back- but he never called me back. I called again last week Fri and demanded his staff contact him to confirm that my items were shipped. After speaking with him they confirmed with me that they were shipped. It was all a lie because I called again today, 5 days later and they just confirmed that it was not shipped last week as theyd previously confirmed. They refuse to return my items to me and they are taking no steps to ensure theyre shipped. I would like the owner Scotty ******* to contact me and confirm that my barrels and box have been shipped before July 15. And if not, that he return my items to me in ** so that I can ship them with another company.Initial Complaint

4 months 20 days ago i contacted ***** shipping to pick up a box from my house for shipping to **********. He charged $160 for the box. Since then the box have not arrived to its destination and ************** is paying me no attention. I, and my mom, made numerouse calls to the company only speaking to the workers who cannot help me. I spoke to ************** only once in the almost 5 months that this has been going on. He said the package is in ******* and no company to send it to **********, he will try to find one. "If you have no company to send my package, why take my money," I said to myself. Please help me. I need my money and my package back. I work very hard for that money and i tried my best to put together some items to send my sick aunt in **********.*******Customer response

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Scotty's Caribbean Shipping, Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I contacted Scottys shipping and the issue remains the same. Still no clarity as to the wearebout of my package. I gave this company $160 and a large box of goods worth a few hundred dollars and they act like they don't care. I worked very hard for that money and I would like it back. Please tell me how to move forward in order to get a positive response and my money and goods back.

I shipped four barrels with this shipping company totaling $408.00. I was informed that it will take three weeks to ship from *** to ******. I was informed that my barrels wasn't sent and is in ******* without any further explanation. I am taking my two babies on vacation next week and all their food stuff is in the barrels. I really need my barrels to be ship to ****** as I paid for, so my babies can have their food, pampers, milk, wipes, etc. When I call to inquire and speak to the owner, ****** I am being told that he is not in, he seems to never be in to answer my questions about my barrels.Initial Complaint

Good evening, I shipped out a refrigerator from ******'s ********* on October 16 and was advised the refrigerator will ship October 18. I paid $253.70 to ship the refrigerator and $763.18 to purchase the refrigerator from *************** When my father arrived to the docks in ******** on the expected receiving date he was advised there was nothing there for him. I contacted the office on November 9 and was advised by a woman that the refrigerator had just left the warehouse November 3. The receiver returned to the docks on November 24 and was advised the shipment had not come in and they are not expecting anything for him. I contacted the warehouse and spoke with a woman who was not willing to assist with my issue and has stated, I need to an email to **************************************** I have tried sending 2 emails that were unsuccessful due to a problem or policy setting on the recipient's email system. I spoke with *** this on November 29 and she had stated, she seen my name on a shipment that was heading to another location and requested that I give her time to find it because it takes too much time research. I then called back on November 30 as advised by *** who has stated, I would need to speak with the owner ****** who is only present on Mondays between 8 and 9am. *** has stated, ****** the owner would have to perform a port search which will take a long time because "Tropical" the ship they use takes a long time. I contacted ***** the owners son on November 30 and was advised I would receive a call back. I called and my calls are being directed to voicemail. I called back the warehouse on December 1 and has been advised ****** must have forgotten to call me and reach out to the ports for a search. *** claims she will remind him. I feel as if no one is willing to help search for my refrigerator. After being told my shipment will be delivered in 2 weeks it is taking much longer. ******* response is 1 month that's not too long. It is when your shipment is lost.
