On August 25th purchased a movie ticket to see bodies bodies bodies at 9:40 PM, about an hour into the movie **** the manager during that shift came up to me And told me that I need to leave the theater because I hadnt purchased a ticket and that I cant just walking into movie theaters like that After telling **** that I had a ticket, and that if he had just asked me to see my ticket it wouldnt have escalated the situation. The literal first thing he said to me was you need to leave right now. Before **** coming up to me not one staff member during the entire time had asked me if I had a ticket or not/ or If I wanted to order some thing or not, the very first interaction I had with staff besides getting my ticket printed out at the front desk was **** coming up to me in the theater and tell me that I needed to leave. Obviously the escalation of the situation immediately made me feel very hostile I started speaking back loudly in the theater asking them why wouldnt they just ask me for my ticket immediately instead of telling me to leave. The security guard on duty at that time also started getting mad at me and started saying youre making me mad now bro I dont wanna have to do some thing I regret. Like what does that even mean? I was just telling them I had a ticket and obviously I was very mad because nobody asked me if I had a ticket or not they just immediately told me to leave in the middle of the film. I am a frequent visitor to this movie theater and this is the first time I have been treated so ******, also I was only black person in this showing. I was only five minutes late and its not my job to tell myself if I can go in or not, I visited the front desk and they told me that I could still enter/ I asked him when I first arrived and they still printed my ticket and told me to hurry to the movie that I was only a few mins late. It was an embarrassing situation and I didnt even revive a refund after not going back into the theater.
