The date of the transaction was 9/16/2021 the total amount I paid to the studio $4450 through Zelle. I signed up for yoga classes which is total of 30 classes after couple of classes I have found out that the classes wouldnt work out for me plus I no longer live in Brooklyn due to school and I got a baby to take care of. I tried to communicate with the owner and also the workers who works in the studio telling them to situation to see if I was able to get a refund on the remaining courses that I didnt take which is $3450. What I was told is they dont do refund and the agreement/contract stick by the wall in the studio but I wasnt given notice there will be no refund and there is an agreement between us how could you expect someone know you stick your company policy by the wall if you dont tell them. First of all they didnt give me a contract to sign they didnt even tell me there is such thing as of the courses would expire if I dont take all the course within a year and no refund whatsoever on the day when I signed up for the courses. What they suggested me was to resell my yoga course to another person, I have tried to look for a buyer but its not easy since the courses are expensive. I tried to communicate with the studio again later on telling them I cannot find another buyer and I have told them I am willing to pay for a fee if there is or deduct the course that I have taken using the single class price instead of package price in order to get a refund on the remaining courses. But what they are saying is that they dont do refund which means only thing I could do is resell the course to a buyer or you lose your money. This place does not tell customers there is contract/agreement before you sign up for the course. But if you have a problem or anything about refund after you signed up they will tell you there is agreement between us which customer wasnt give notice on and you cannot do anything about it.Customer response
