On October 15th, 2022 I found a 2018 **** ****** for sale by owner for $34,000 on **********. I contacted the owner and was told to contact the auto broker (SMB) that was handling the transaction for him. I contacted them, gave them the price me and the owner talked about and the broker told me to fill out the buying information and wait for a confirmation. It was later approved and the broker sent me their information to complete a wire transfer from my bank to theirs. The price was negotiated to $32,000 with a $599 shipping fee, which I then sent to the brokers bank. I was given a confirmation of payment, tracking information and told that I had 7 days to test the vehicle upon delivery and if I did not want the vehicle they would take it back and send the money back to my account. The transaction was completed on October 31st and the shipping started on Wednesday, November 2nd. It was scheduled for delivery for the 4th of November and then I received an email stating that the delivery date was changed to Monday, Nov 7th, 2022 and that was sent to me via email on the 3rd of November which was the last contact I received from them. I sat at the pickup location for an hour and after multiple calls and emails, decided to go back home. The next day, no replies to emails, no calls received. I have called multiple times (Owner and Broker) and have received no replies.Initial Complaint
