      This company I believe contacted me about 2 months ago asking for money. I had told them I possibly might be able to pay some around Christmas time. They were supposed to send me an email explaining it all. I never got an email and never got another call. Then today 12/30/23 they took $1679.64 out of my account. I have tried to contact these people even before this to tell them I wouldn't be able to make that payment but could never reach anyone. They took my rent and I didn't sign anything saying they could take that money.

      This person who can never verify there name is harassing me for a debt saying they are with APG and I can pay now or go to jail so saying they will call my work employment and try to garnish my pay. calling my family members talking about my debt and personal information. also having ppl knock on my door harassing me through text and phone! Sending a message directly to me and not verifying anything at most . Saying its strictly it's always knew ppl harassing and leaving voicemail . This harassment nerds to stop urgent !

      APG Has been harassing my family, work, and even people to haven’t talked to in years. I don’t know how they are getting anyone’s numbers as I never have the the numbers or permission to start robocalling and harassing my family. I hired an investigator to look into the company and their fraudulent actions. It appears that this company is already being deeply investigated.

      I received a text saying This message is intended strictly for *** ******, at this time your account has been listed as a refusal. Documentation will be sent to your physical address and place of employment on 8/25/2023, please contact our risk department immediately to resolve this matter at ###-###-#### I have no idea who these people are. Who they are collecting for. I’m not sure if this a scare tactic or not. Why are you trying to send something to my place of employment?

      I have been harassed by this company calling from different numbers as well as my relatives being called about my personal information. Also I have received txts saying you will send me detailed personal information by mail without verifying address which is very confidential information. As well as saying you will send to my employer. Saying this through txt with my name attached without verifying my number is not allowed

      APG is calling and harassing people that is not even my family nor anyone that I even talk to. I asked what it was they were and they stated they area an arbitration. They wanted all of my personal information and I told them that I do not feel comfortable giving out that information as I never gotten any letters or phone calls. I also have never heard of the. They hung up on me without any explanation.

      Apg is harassing while at work and very early or late hours. Now they're calling family members who are not on any of my accounts and disclosing private information. I demand they cease and desist this harassment. The upload attached is a screenshot from a family members phone in which their voice-mail texts them, so I have the proof they've disclosed this information.

      I have been trying to reach this company by phone for the past few days, and the number that I have for them is either busy or says that the number cannot be reached as dialed. I just spoke to this company about 3 weeks ago and I called the same number that I have been calling but have yet to answer their phone.

      Elaine Y**** was the customer representative I spoke to in October of 2021 to settle some debt. Up until recently I have tried to reach out to discuss some options and the phone number had been disconnected and the website is no longer active. I’m worried that this has been a scam all a long.. I’m in the process of disputing with my bank. Either way please be cautious.

      They continually harassed me by calling multiple times a day while I was at work and late at night. I finally answered and spoke to someone. To stop the harassments I paid Advanced Portfolio Group $1243.81 for a collection debt from ***** ** **. They mis-represented themselves by saying that they owned the debt and were trying to collect on it. The fact is they nor ********** **** ******* that they claim to be representing have any association with ***** ** **. When I contacted ***** ** ** they said they had no record of selling the debt or that it had been settled. ***** ** ** never received a payment from Advanced Portfolio Group or ********** **** ******* on my behalf. This is clearly FRAUD and they need to be closed down.

      Thank you for the opportunity to respond. Advanced Portfolio Group strives to provide excellent service. Upon receipt of this complaint your account was reviewed. All calls placed were within all applicable FDCPA, Reg F, state, and local regulations. ***** * ** sold the account to *** on or about May 3, 2022, therefore they would not receive any payment. If you are to call there again, they should state that ********** is the owner, and we have talked to ***** *** **, and they are aware of the mistake they made, of telling the consumer they still owned the account. The account was closed and returned to ********** **** ******** LLC. While the account is closed in our office and has been returned to ********** **** *******, the debt is still valid and owing. *** may choose to continue collections activity.
