              The offices of Armin, O'Conner, & Boch attempted to collect a debt from me without having an active bond in my state per my Secretary of State's website. Principal Name: Armin, O'Conner & Boch, LLC 4950 Genesee St., Suite 140 Cheektowaga, NY 14225 File Number: ******** Status: Canceled Close File Date Filed: 11/6/2017 Cancellation Date: 1/3/2022 Bonding Company: ******** ******** ********* *******  Bond No: *********** I called their office to advise them of this, and to let them know I will not do business with them because of this. They pushed on me to work with them to settle, and that their situation is the same as "people driving without insurance, they do it all the time." I had to remind this person that they may do it all the time, but that does not make it legal. I have also filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General, and am working on my complaint with the FTC. The fact that I called to warn them they are attempting to collect without proper paperwork, and they still tried to collect from me and tell me they are still allowed to do so is ridiculous, and I hope my state fines them for this, and trying to advise me to still work with them anyways.

              I HAD RECIEVED A CALL FROM ARMIN OCONNER AND BOCH AND HAD A VERY NICE CONVERSATION WITH A WOMEN WHO TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN TO ME MY DEFAULTED DEBT THAT I LEGALLY OWED. I WAS ALSO OFFERED A SETTLEMENT WHICH NO OTHER COMPANY WAS WILLING TO DO. I ALSO WAS ABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS ON THE SETTLEMENT AS WELL SAVING ME MONEY AND ALLOWING ME NOT TO GO FUTHER INTO DEBT. IM TRYING CLEAR MY CREDIT. THESE COMPANIES ARE SIMPLY COLLECTING MONEY ON DEBTS THAT ARE OWED AND TAKEN OUT BY PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WHO TRY TO GET OUT OF THEIR OBLIGATIONS WILL ALWAYS SAY ITS A SCAM OR HARRASMENT. SIMPLY PAY YOUR PAST/PRESENT OBLIGATIONS AND YOU WILL NOT GET CALLS.
