Woke up this morning to my mother questioning why this company was contacting her, not just once -- she has been contacted at least twice. She also reported my other family members having been getting calls from this company regarding some "account" that was opened in my name with them. How this company obtained that information is beyond me, but I want these calls to my family to cease immediately.Business response

I was contacted by a representative of this company in regards to a debt that was purchased by their company. I have made several payments arrangements & have paid them back all of the settled arrangements. I am constantly receiving phone calls, voicemails & etc. Today, 6/10/2024, this company called my spouse which is not on any of my financial documents and had no idea of who or what they were contacting him. This company left a transcript message disclosing my information to him, in which I did not agree on. My spouse has since screen shot and recorded the message to his cellphone. This has caused me more stress. I contacted the number that was left on the message and was transferred to “Ryan”, I explained to “Ryan” that I did not list my spouse’s cellphone number or give anyone permission to speak or leave a voicemail/ message with him. “Ryan” responded, “I don’t see what’s the problem… it is your husband correctly” I am seeking legal advice after this embarrassing, unprofessional manner.Initial Complaint

Colvin Consulting Group's call from +***********, COLVIN, was extremely imprecise and unprofessional. This person is currently calling persons with whom I have no affiliation and has my personal information. This is quite disrespectful, especially if you are making low-class calls to deceased or unrelated people. When I called ************* the woman was angry and the signal was very low. Colvin didn't even send me an email or leave a voicemail at first. It's ridiculous that they are seeking for me and sharing my information with people I have no affiliation with, all while stalking me. I would prefer them to never get in touch with me again, or anyone they might believe I'm connected to. This account was closed on 4/19/24. This was the only day contact was made with the consumer and was closed right after contact was made to avoid further escalation.
