Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. On 6/5/21 I met with Tim/All General.To replace the concrete driveway,repair sidewalk in front of my house and add a 6' pad next to the garage.( 14'x20' w/ 9'x8' overhead door, steel man-door and a window on the one side).Tim called me around the 10th and gave me a verbal price of $25,500 for the project. I told Tim I would go with him on the 14th. He dropped off the contract on the 18th.there was no message or note with the contract.. When I opened it the price was now $27,500. I contacted Tim for clarification and he said when he checked there was a price fluctuation in concrete & lumber. ( i assumed he'd already done that). Gave him the benefit of the doubt and went with him anyway. From June 28th to the end of August progress & communication was very slow and erratic.About the middle of August a crew member was at our house and told my wife that they were all ready to build the garage once the pad was done. The pad was poured the week of the 23rd. They worked on the garage on 9/10/21,9/13/21 and it is still not finished.We were told at the end of September that the garage door was still on back order. The driveway was poured 10/11/21. On 10/12/21 I spoke to Tim and he said there was a issue with the concrete used for the driveway, he seemed puzzled himself. He said he would remeasure it on 10/13/21 when he came by for the final payment and let me know if there was an issue. He came by on the 13th and received the final payment, didn't say anything about extra to my wife or call me back about it. I called Tim and left messages on 10/21 & 10/22 that water/rain was pooling against my house and see when he could. complete the job. I received a text on 10/22 asking for $3000.00 for the extra concrete and another $990.00 for the door.Let Tim know I was still waiting for help with my issues and I felt I met my financial obligation. This totals $6000.00 mistakes they made on this job. I paid for the first $2000.00.*mistake should have been caught before they poured!Business response

Tim from the business left a voicemail indicating that the consumer would take care of the door and that the business would not charge for the extra concrete.Customer response
