On November 9, 2020 we responded to an ad in the ******* *** by a roofer: All Home Repairs, owner Joseph O******. The reason was because we had a very serious leak in our roof and needed someone to repair it. Mr. O****** came out to our home and said he would check it out and let us know what was causing the leak. After spending a few minutes on the roof he came down and said he could make the repairs for $1,250.00. I was quite shocked because I didn't think it was that much in disrepair. He then asked for $750.00 deposit and a few days later came back to do the work. He attached a large metal sheet on our roof and three hours later came down and said the job was finished and asked for the balance of $500.00 for completing the job. I was quite shocked at the very short time he spent working, i.e., less than three hours. A few days later the roof started leaking again in the same area, our family room, all over my wife's expensive recliner for her health problems. I called him again and he brought some other guy and told me that he needed his advice and asked me to pay him. I refused and he got very angry. After the other guy spend two hours working on the roof they left. A few days later the roof, once again, leaked in the same area. I called Joe and his response was, "I'm through with you", and hung up on me. My wife and I are close to being 90 years of age and our Family is furious over this whole disastrous matter. Our Son did some checking and learned that we weren't the only ones duped by Joseph O******.Business response

BBB spoke with the owner who said that he repaired a leak and he put flashing in to make a repair. A few weeks later the leak continued, apparently from another area. The leak is apparently from the side wall or top of roof, so he checked both. The work he had done was sealed. There would be an extra cost to repair leaks in areas that were not repaired. Please call the owner if you would like him to look at it again.
