We used them for packing and moving. I didn't realize until we started unpacking that there were at least 5 boxes packed as in the photos attached - an entire, large box for about one inch of material at the bottom. Seeing as we paid for all packing materials, including boxes, and the tape to close them, we basically were scammed into paying for way more than we needed. On top of this, it looked like drawers they "packed" were literally just turned upside down and dumped into the box. Totally unprofessional. On the moving day, the crew leader was grumpy and spent the entire move yelling at the other two movers, which was uncomfortable. We also had to remind them multiple times of furniture items in other rooms that they kept forgetting to pack into the truck. And finally, two days later we returned to the old apartment to hand over the keys, and found two drawers that were still full - that they had completely neglected to pack at all. I emailed them about these issues and received an automated response that said someone would contact me, but they never did. On the plus side - I'd like to give a shout out to one of the packers/movers, Angel, who was friendly and accommodating both days, going out of his way to chat and be nice and help us in any way he could. The other packers/movers were all friendly on packing day, but not on moving day.

I wish there were more ways to review this business. The movers that came by were exceptional. The management behind them was atrocious. We had a misunderstanding with what services were expected, and when they didn't complete that to our we tried to get in touch. This took weeks, and when we finally did they continued to ignore my requests. After contacting multiple locations I was finally able to get an email chain going with someone from the local office. This persisted for many more weeks until another person was brought into the fold. He presented as being helpful in the beginning only to quickly turn even more hostile. I was trying to be compensated for the issues I experienced. He said I was being unreasonable, began using threatening language like "don't you dare...", and even questioned my own marriage's communcation quality. Never once did he acknowledge they could have made the mistake. He only wanted a negative review to be taken down. There was no part of him that wanted to actually repair the situation. I STRONGLY recommend using another moving company.

This moving company was unable to move a washer and dryer out of the basement of a house as well as the kitchen table. At the apartment being moved to, this moving company was unable to move into the apartment a couch, refrigerator, and box spring and left it outside in the elements. A rain storm occurred that afternoon and thus ruined the couch and box spring. The following morning, using some initiative, the refrigerator was moved into the apartment unit by the owners by taking off the door and molding, something you would think professional movers would know how to do. For this "service," I was charged $980. When I complained, the manager of the local franchise responded with an abusive call. I would not recommend Two Men and A Truck to my worst enemy. Indeed, the name of the company should be changed to Two Men and a Good Luck.

Do not believe the 4.6/4.8 reviews if you are in ny make sure to check **** myself and the other 2 reviews are basically the same! This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life. They damaged every key item I had moved my bed my dresser my dining table my china cabinet my front porch that they dragged the China cabinet across. They sent 4 inexperienced kids all barely out of high school if that to move my home! None of them knew how the truck operated how to move things carefully, they did not have skid pads or the right things to move certain furniture. To top it all off one of the kids decided he didn’t feel good and vomited into a moving box of ours and they thought it ok to leave that at my house for me to clean up. Then dealing with randy the idk what type of manager this guy is but he wants his apology to be enough. Charged me full price and offered to fix my items but due to covid no idea when that would start or finish but also wants his guys to be picking this stuff up taking it where they want and brining it back like are u serious! Never hire these crooks you will be very sorry for a portion of the 2700 I paid u can rent a truck and damage all your own stuff for much less! I have 1 leather chair I needed move to my apartment down the road. They quoted 150 and drew up a contract that stated they would charged 300 to 620. I told them they were nuts to place my money back on my card! Let’s see what happens!

A very bad experience with the local (Buffalo) Two Men and a Truck company today. No problems with the four moving men. BUT WHEN THE FINAL BILL CAME THROUGH $235 HIGHER THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, i WAS VERY UPSET. The only explanation I was given was that it took longer than expected. I had detailed out all of the steps of the move including two different addresses and a second floor at the second address. When i asked to speak to a supervisor, I was treated with disrespect and threatened with a collection agency if I did not pay the outstanding bakance [i had paid a $100 deposit]. When I told the suoervisor that I had not received their pre-move email they sent me, i was called a liar and questioned on my ability to use my email account. The supervisor then lectured me on what a wonderful company they are and that he has almost no complaints from other users. Not the customer service skills needed/expected to react to a customer questioning the billing of services just provided. I WILL NEVER USE NOR RECOMMEND USING TWO MEN AND A TRUCK AGAIN.

AVOID using this moving company. They are not transparent about their travel costs. Was charged for double the time it would take from their facilities to the the city. The manager has been extremely distasteful when it was challenged. An additional travel time charge will be added to cover the time spent traveling from the movers terminal to your old address, and back to the terminal from your new address. Two men and a Truck will tack on more than it actually costs. BEWARE.
