They came into my backyard and torn up my backyard and haven't been back to finish the job. I have no backyard now because he dug up my whole back yard. He took my check for 5000 dollars and never came back. He said his wife is in the hospital and that is why he cant come back and finish the job. I only found that out because he finally unblocked my number after blocking. I was calling and texting and he blocked me so he didnt have to deal with me now im unblocked but says he cant finish the job.Initial Complaint

I hired DiPalma Plumbing on 4/14/22 to install a new sump pump and water backup. I gave them a deposit of $750. I also gave them $1,900 in cash for the sump pump and water backup. The plumber told me that my sump pump pit had to be enlarged. So they came back on 4/26/22 to enlarge this. I gave them a check for $2,600. They would not supply me with a contract. I called and texted them many times asking them to send me a contract. On 6/26 I noticed that my toilet was not flushing. I contacted DiPalma plumbing and asked for them to come out and unclog the toilet. No response. So I called ***** Plumbing. Well, DiPalma Plumbing left the gate valve dropped down and as soon as the value was raised, the toilet flushed. But there was sewer backup in my bathtub. It cost me $136 for them to tell me this, ***** Plumbing also said the gate value needed a clip, the primary line was not compliant, and the sump pump was NOT level to the floor. ***** Plumbing, today, 7/1, is correcting all this. It costs me another $2,300 to fix this problem. ***** Plumbing said there were no holes in the sump pump container for the water to drain out. Also, DiPalma Plumbing NEVER had an inspector come out to look at the job. What a complete mess.Initial Complaint

I called them on Thursday Feb 17 because my basement sewer backed up due to the amount of rain. They came about midnight to snake my basement drain sewer and informed me a pipe outside was cracked and they were coming back on Feb 24 to fix the pipe. They took my deposit that night (17) for the pipe to be fixed the following week the (24th) they never showed up on the 24th nor did they call and when I called them today the 25th they told me they “forgot” and refuse to give me my refund for the deposit of $650.
