I purchased a sweatshirt with the ****** High School spirit wear online order through Adpro Sports on February 22, 2023. The order ID *********. The item was a **** Women's Fleece Crew, color black, size Large. I paid Grand Total $46.86 ($44 for the product & $2.86 for the processing fee). The picture descriptions shows a sweatshirt with the length of the shirt being long, and the sleeves going all the way down to the bottom of the sweatshirt. When I got my product it is a cropped sweatshirt. It does not cover the torso area and the sleeves are much longer than the length of the sweatshirt. I called them to let them know the product I received is not what I ordered. They told me there was a description in writing stating that it was cropped. I never saw that description, and I could not go back into the website to look because it comes up error that the shop for ****** High School is closed. The picture on my receipt order form that I received with my sweatshirt also shows that it should be a full length crewneck. Adpro has refused to do anything about their false advertising of this sweatshirt. I now have a sweatshirt I will never wear, and I either want what was pictured in the description or a refund of $46.86.Business response

BBB - We have received the complaint via postal mail and have researched into it. Please see our response below.Attached you will find the customer's (******* *****) order for the online flash store for the ***** ****** ****** Track & Field team store she references in her complaint and a clip from the store of the item she purchased as we have highlighted in yellow the text that references that the item is a "cropped design" twice in the description. We do not log inbound customer calls to our customer service line, so I do not have a reference point as to when she called or whom she spoke with but I would say our representative handled it properly in that she correctly received what she ordered but was unhappy with it. I would disagree with her comment about "false advertising" since the description of the item clearly states it is a cropped design that hits the waist. We look to provide a visual and text based reference for items on our flash stores to assist the customer in picking the correct item but it looks in this case as it wasn't enough. We will reach out to ******* and offer a refund for the item as an act of good faith because we would not want it to cause her to harbor ill will for possible future purchases. I placed an order for $113.35 for shirts from this company under the guise of charity for unfortunate mass murder/shooting that occurred at the tops in Buffalo in may. It’s been over a month now with no shipping, and now no responses. I was told that I would see my shirts week of the 6th. Then when that week came and went I was told the week of the 13th, with the same story. Now no will answer my emails. I feel like this company just robbed me for over a hundred dollars.Business response

In response to your letter dated June 22 2022 we have reached out to the customer/donor and have
issued a full refund to her satisfaction. The email correspondence and refund receipt are attached.
