  • Patio and walkway are not finished. • Front walkway has a huge crack. He said he would fix it.  • After the concrete was cured, 28 days, he cut relief lines and got concrete dust EVERYWHERE. I had to pay someone to come clean up the concrete dust that was left EVERYWHERE.  • Left a huge mess of my property and yard. Concrete all over my white vinyl fencing. Rocks/Concrete all over my yard. Slump pile concrete all over yard. Told me he would come rake out, backfill and seed the yard, He did not. Spit chewing tobacco all over my property when working.  • Used my personal garbage can and poured waste concrete in it, along with other items. Left the garbage can for us to not only dispose of which was very heavy, but also had to be replaced because it was not able to be used again after there was dried concrete in it.  • Stamped concrete has uneven color or sealant that has bubbled up and again, looks messy and unfinished, or thought through.  • Did not finish the job. Said he would be back, and never showed up, stopped communicating.  • Is not fine tuned with small details of the work, and applied very messy, wrong colored caulk up against stone, didn't glue down or secure block caps and overall many flaws in the stamped concrete.  • Became extremely flakey not showing up when he said he would and stopped communicating. • Mismeasured the circle step onto the patio, too small for space, again no communication.  • We paid extra money for extra block due to changes, he did not use all the block and took the block. I asked him not to take the block, and that I would use it for my garden, and he still took the block that I paid extra  for.  • Communication turned very different from initial greetings. He apologized for the way he acted and blamed stress of the job.  • When I mentioned he had a contract to uphold he said "Do you think I care about a contract?" Overall I would NOT recommend 518 Concrete due to the overall Blocked my number and won’t respond

  I hired 518 Concrete to lay concrete for 2 small patios, one of which was right outside my door with steps to lead up to my shed. Chad from 518 Concrete provided me with an estimate of 10,000 to do 2 small patios with a fire pit and retaining wall. Chad drew up the contract which read that 3 steps would be made leading up to my shed along with the retainer wall, and fire pit. The contract included the 3 steps. I explained to him that I needed the steps to be manageable due to a disability which he agreed. I also asked for a railing and if he would cover up a opening in the fence. He agreed to the railing and to see what they could do to cover the opening in the fence. They dropped off the supplies which I paid them half for $ 5000.00 on my front lawn claiming they could not get them to the back without moving my fence. They damaged my front lawn with heavy concrete bricks and parked their vehicles on my lawn causing more damage. When they took off my fence and put it back after completing the work, my fence no longer shut correctly, it was out of alignment and needed to be fixed. They left me their garbage and did not clean up after themselves . The steps they made were 2 huge steps with gapping openings on both sides that allowed dirt to come down every time it rained and the concrete patio outside the door was not level causing water to come in my house every time it rained. The retainer wall top bricks were not cemented down as it should have been nor was my fire pit cemented at all, the bricks just laid there. He said he would come back and complete the job but never did. That was in November of 2021. I called and texted and sent him pictures of the water and some of the issues. He said he understood and promised to come back and complete the job and fix the problems. He never did. He kept telling me he was out of town and would do so when he returned. Eventually he stopped responding . I have had to pay money since to correct the damages.

  I hired this business to put in concrete pads for dog kennels, 4 feet apart. They did not do this. They miscalculated and put in too few drains. They also did not smooth the surface for the dogs feet making it dangerous for animals. When asked about this after much debate and no apology he never returned to fix his mistake!!! On a side note the workers he used stole my driveway stones for the concrete pad! He promised to replace amd never did. And when I came home from ******* his workers were loading my **** ***** tractors onto a flatbed and stealing them!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes! I to.d them it was unacceptable. Now the owner is blocking our calls and refusing to finish the job or return my stones! Very unprofessional! Because of this, since he will not come back I am seeking a refund since the job was not done correctly and it will cost more money to have these pads removed and have someone else redo correctly

  BBB spoke to the business and the following was relayed: The owner called and said that the consumer signed a contract. Since the mother wasn't available while the work was done, the daughter confirmed what was to be done. The daughter confirmed and was paid for the job. When the mother finally checked the job, she decided she wanted to change what the daughter wanted. After the company a bad review, the business decided not to give a courtesy repair.
