My vehicle was towed there June 3rd for an appointment on June 7th for 5 recalls. On June 7th I received a call asking if they could diagnose vehicle for a separate issue. They h gave me the price of $180-300. I told them I would call right back and get approval from my brother who would be paying. Within 3 minutes I called back and got no answer. After another 10 minutes I called again with no answer so I left a voice mail to diagnose and proceed with repairs/recalls. It's now been 21 without my vehicle and have had no returned calls, no explanations, and no updates. I have been unable to work for 3 weeks now and have no way of getting in contact with anyone as I call daily now leave voice-mails and get no response.

******* ***** vehicle was picked up on July 10th. Repairs took longer than expected since there were old recalls on the vehicle that we needed to order the parts for. All repairs and recalls were completed.

I bought a 2018 *** ******** 9-1-2020 at Vision Kia in Canandaigua NY. I purchased the extended warranty for additional $2500. I have gone to the dealership every oil change, inspections (except this last time when they tried to force me to buy $1200 tires from them so they failed my inspection because I wouldn’t buy them). Well on 4-5-2024 I went in for my oil change now on 4-30-2024 a light came on which I thought was oil light so checked oil it was bone dry. So I put quart in to make it to the dealership went in told them the problem he said ok they pulled it in to check for leaks none had to put in a quart in a half so that made it two in a half quarts low in 2400 mileages which has never happened since I have had vehicle. Parts guy told me dipstick always reads a quart in a half low never heard that I said. The machanic from garbage said they couldn’t look at it anymore with it being out of warranty. So I called today 5-2-2024 talk to sales manager asked about warranty she says old owner has all that paperwork they can’t get it. So I asked to talk to owner she says I have follow chain of command talk to Greg service manager so waiting for phone from him. Everytime I go to get simple oil change they try to sell me air filters that they pull out of under counter telling me they are mine which look nothing like mine for $125 & $76. They try to tell u that u need to purchase extra stuff every time. When I was waiting yesterday they told a guy he needed new tires before passing inspection but he just put new tires on 3 weeks ago he told them that service guy says well we may not be able to pass it without purchase of new tires he said well then they will return vehicle service guy says I will be right back then agreed to pass inspection.

I just want *** to fix their mistakes and fix my vehicle at no cost to me

Our Service Director Greg M***** spoke to the customer on the phone and explained the oil is not leaking, but  possibly burning internally.  The car is out of warranty.   This issue is not from oil change frequency. The vehicle is over 100,000 miles and according to the extended  warranty paperwork provided, the extended warranty had expired @ 100,000 miles.  It has not been determined if this would have been covered under extended warranty or not (if an extended warranty was in effect), as a complete teardown of the internal components of engine would have to be inspected for cause of failure.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  We did speak to Greg after stopping in after being ignored for 2 weeks sales member had to use personal phone to call him then he had Chad handle it. They said it was a build up of oil on the rings that would cost me $2800-$3000 to fix unless motor blew cause the motor is lifetime warranty. We were never given warranty or extended warranty information when buying car.   Regards,  **** *****

I took my vehicle into my dealership for oil change and tire rotation. They came back to me and stated that 2 of my tires were bad, one of them the cords were showing. They gave me a quote for tires and I told them that I couldn't do it that day, and made an appointment for 2 days later. I didn't keep that appointment. Instead took my car to my tire guy that I normally use. I told them what the dealership told me. I said I needed 2 new tires and they took my car in the back. He then came back to me and stated that one of my tires, the numbers didn't match the other 3 tires and it was worn different than the others. He then told me that my tire was recently swapped out. The dealership swapped my tire for a bad one making it look like I needed to purchase new ones. I have receipt from last tires put on and new ones put on. They have the numbers on receipt. I was and still am FURIOUS that a dealership would pull this deceiving act!! Something should be done!! They're taking advantage of people. I believe it's also a crime what they did. They currently have my tire they took off my car. What should I do?? Let them get away with it? My tire guy said he's seen this before. He also wrote on my receipt that the tire doesn't match the other's just in case I can do something about this horrible act. This is the 2nd misconception/Vision Kia has crossed me with. Please help me get justice!!

Our service manager and director reviewed the camera footage of when the vehicle came into the shop and left. At no point when the vehicle was in the shop were the tires dismounted from the rim or changed from another vehicle.

I purchased a vehicle in 2015. In the contract it states that I will receive lifetime free oil change and filters. Also included is an additional $1000 trade in value if I trade in that vehicle. Recently they are no longer honoring that contract and only offer their new vision advantage, while outwardly refusing to honor any previous contracts. One reason I was given is that the price of oil changes has increased dramatically. In the contract it does not state they can change the so called vision advantage.

I have reviewed the complaint from *** ****. Vision went through a buy-sell in September 2022 which is why the free oil changes have changed. To resolve this issue our service director Greg ****** has reached out to Mr. **** this morning and left a message.

I bought a 2017 *** ******* from Kia Vision in Canandaguia , NY on 10-12-21, from the get go there was fraudulant transaction. My step son and I went up together and each purchased vehicles. I couldn't get loan in my price range so they put my income and step son's together. Both loans are in his name, I had to fight to get my name on title. I looked at contracts when this all started and told them it was in correct info. and they said that's how they had to doit to get both loans, The service from the finacial person Mike he was rude to me and told me he could only talk to **** and I wasn't involved in the signing of papers so I didn't realize till after the fact. Now on to the other issue, As stated above I bought it on 10-12-21. Brought it in because I realized I had no horn, so while there they also did my oil change and supposedly chek out the fluttering noise and hesitation it did. They told me they didn't feel any. So on 5-20-22 seven months after purchasing it my car breaks down I call them and tell them they tell me not to drive it any further have it towed up there they would look at it on Tuesday 5-23-22. So next day 5-21-22 I use one of my tows from * I called on on 5-24-22 to see what's going on they hadn't looked at it yet. So on 5-26-22 I call back and the service person tells me I have oil in my spark plugs and warranty won't cover so I hang up and call the Sales manager Brian up and want to know what is going on I paid $3000 for extended warranty and he says I have it and he will talk to service manager and all me back. Again he didn't cause I was complaining about the whole sale situation earlier. So I call Brian back on 5-27-22 to find out what's up he tells me to come get car after the holiday weekend on 5-31-22, I have my parents take me there and go see Brian he tells me to take my car home it's gonna drive rough but drive it till it blows up and have it towed back up there. In which I talk to the service manager and tell him I'm not ok w/

The motor for ****** ***** has been approved and she explained to us that she is going to retract her complaint to the BBB. She stopped into the store on June 13, 2022 to get a loaner car and was reminded of the retraction of her complaint. The customer is happy and has been taken care of.
