An ambulette pick at 1pm for my mother was scheduled for a post op appointment for cataract eye surgery. The driver arrived 45 minutes late for the appointment scheduled at 2 pm. I was informed by the driver that my mother would have to make an additional stop at another facility to pick up a second passenger when this is not normal procedure.As a result my mother would now be more than an hour late for her appointment. When the ambulette service was contacted and asked to instruct the driver to drop my mother off first before the additional appointment so she wouldnt be late, I was put on hold and then disconnected form the phone call. I called the company back. At this point I was more than annoyed that the issues wasnt being resolved. The representative was very unprofessional and then instructed the driver to take my disabled mother in a wheelchair off the ambulette. The driver refused and kept my mother on the ambulette so that she could get to the appointment . This experience was unnecessary and this company needs better management.
