On Jan. 30th I saw an advertisement online from Haarko for knives. I purchased 2 knives and 2 sheaths and they sent me a copy of the order, and it stated 4 knives. I immediately emailed them back saying I only purchased 2 knives. They sent back an automated response saying they are extremely busy and will get back to me as soon as possible. It is now Feb. 1st and I still have not heard back from them. I tried going back to the order, but it was strangely removed. I looked up this company on BBB and found that there were similar complaints, and strangely, similar complaints as a company called *******. I believe it is the same company operating under another name, and they have the same MO. I bought 2 knives, but they will send me 4 knives stating that the items were already packed and shipped. If you complain they will ask you to ship the other 2 knives to an address in Lithuania at your expense. Mailing them back to Lithuania will cost more than the 4 knives so most people do not send them back. They do the same thing at ******* and I was scammed the same way. ******* sent me 4 scrubbers when I ordered only 1. When I complained they told me to mail them back to Lithuania at my expense. I read some of the complaints on ******* and Haarko on BBB and they are both using the same tactics. They need to be stopped before they make millions off of innocent people.Business response

I ordered 1 knife and 1 sheath. They sent 4 knives and 4 sheaths. I filled out an online return form. I was contacted to acknowledge my request, but they wanted more information. When I answered that email, I had a “could not be delivered” note so I assume the email is bogus. I’m 78 years old and totally stressed. I want to return ALL the knives and need a Return label, and assurance of a refund.Business response

We are familiar with this case. Upon receiving customers request for a return, we have responded back by requesting to confirm whether the unwanted items haven't been used yet. Unfortunately, we have never heard back from the customer regarding the condition of the goods. Instead, we have received a note with a tracking number that items have been sent back. Upon checking the tracking number, it appears to be invalid with no any indication that the package would have been shipped to the correct provided return address. The customer's provided trascking number was: ************* ******
Could you please help us and ask the customer to provide a valid return tracking number.
Kindly note, until no valid return tracking number is received, we, regretfully, can not process with any of refunds.

After my complaint, I received an email with instructions and an address to return the package. The post office gave me the tracking number which I passed on in the form provided by seller. I sent package to the address which cost me $139.00.Now, either this customer service is inept, or Huusk is trying to get out of giving me a refund.

After my complaint I received email with return address. I was asked for tracking number and provided the one on PO receipt.
I checked and the tracking number is correct. The PO told me the tracking was available only through the US. I have done what they asked and package was mailed to them 10/31/2022 to Lithuania. I don’t understand their problem.******* *****

Would like to clarify a few important moments in this situation. Firstly, contrary to what the customer indicates, the package didn't get mailed to us in Lithuania on 10/31/2022. Only on 11/01/2022 the package departed Germany and reached Lithuania only on 11/02/2022.Even at the moment the package isn't in our possession and, therefore, we haven't been able to inspect the returned stock as we are awaiting for the customs documents to get processed. Sending you attached screenshots of USPS tracking. As it might take a while for the customs procedure to be completed and we really don't fancy to keep the customer waiting any longer,- we have already processed a refund without checking the condition of returned items. I was on you tube and a advertisement came on about knives. I thought it would be a good Christmas gift for my kids, but then my husband reminded me that we are not buying gifts this year, cause we are going on a family vacation instead. So I hit the back button and all of a sudden the web site said that I had just purchased the knives, even though I never confirmed the sell, I hit the back button on my iphone. I called the company immediately and told them what happened, and asked them to cancel the order. They said they would fill out some form and get back to me as soon as they heard from the shipping department. Within a couple days they said they was not able to cancel the order due to it had already processed. Even though I called within 5 minutes and spoke to a live person within the order "going" through. So when the order arrived I requested the return information, and they give me an address to return the knives to Lithuania, return cost $149. I only paid $130.Business response

I see that customer ****** ******* received a 50% partial refund from our team on Oct 19th and agreed to keep the items. I went ahead and refunded the rest of the money just to make sure the customer is happy.
