Date of Service -Dec 20, 2022 Visited a ***** ****** in network provider for glasses for my husband and me . He said no problem using our existing frames Picked mine up on Jan6, 2023 and I was charged $35 Picked up ***'s on Jan 16, 2035 and he was charged 122.50 I wanted a detailed receipt and he said he was too busy. I questioned the amount charged because my husband and I wanted to stay below the $200 allowance we each had through ******** *****. He talked about a $35 lab fee which I did not understand since we were using an in network provider. I checked with ***** ****** who told me there was no lab fee and ***'s glasses should have been no charge and mine should have been $4. We went back to Troidl and he said, "Oh silly me , I charged you incorrectly. I shouldn't have charged *** anything except a $50 lab fee, and your antireflective coating was $125 plus the $50 lab fee, so I'll refund you $53.50". The problem is that we're still out $100 and he refuses to give me a detailed receipt. I've stopped at the store 3 times and ***** called there once and we were told he's too busy. This man is apparently is not working within the bounds of his contract with ***** ******. I should not have been charged any more than $4 for both pairs of glasses according to the ***** representative.
