      American Exteriors (owner Steve) did a complete roof tear off on my residence in 2008. I contacted Steve in January due to roof leaking. He promptly viewed the problem 1/25/2024 said he would have "Curtis" repair weather permitting. (Weather now permits) Since then I have left several messages (phone/text) that have gone unanswered. When it rains it pours and I've gone from one bucket to four! I am contacting BBB to assist in getting this matter resolved. Thank you.

      Job of siding and gutters completed in November 2020. Satisfied with work. Was discovered in November 2022 that dryer vent for proper ventilation had been sided over and there was no ventilation to outside when dryer being used. My Dad, **** ********, cut hole in siding and properly vented. My Father contacted Stephen M******* (owner) on 11-17-22 about situation. Mr. M******* was very apologetic and promised a refund of 65.00 (amount charged originally for installation of new dryer vent) would promptly be refunded to me. No check was ever received, and my father called and left messages with Mr. M******* on, 11-29-22, 12-5-22 and 12-8-22 all calls were never returned. My father did get a hold of Mr. M******* on 12-9-22 and was told that checks were mailed out on the last day of the month and I should be receiving money soon. Once again no check was received. On 1-4-23 my father called and left message again with Mr. M*******, once again no return call. It was at this point I reluctantly felt I had no other choice but to file a complaint. This was a potentially tragic situation that was thankfully avoided. All I am asking for is a refund of dollars that was charged for a new dryer vent which obviously was never installed. Frankly I find Mr. M*******'s lack of customer service and common sense puzzling. Extremely disappointed in overall lack of concern on Mr. M*******'s part.

      we submitted a payment out  for $65 from our bill pay company on December 1 . I made ******* dad was aware of it and it takes 10 to 14 business days. we confirmed the check was sent but not cashed so we will send out another check.

      the check was sent from our 3party payer and sent back to them with return to sender.There has been some issues with them sending payment to some places . so i sent a check out 3/3/23 to her address on file she should be getting it the next week
