      Mr. Lawn Care provided a lawn treatment for my lawn for 3 years. Last year on the last treatment the service person could not do my lawn because he showed up without a prior notification from them on the day I was having a tree service take down trees on my property. The service person said he could not come back for the rest of the year, but they would credit my account for the treatment on my bill for this year. In March I received a letter from them saying they would not be treating my area anymore because it was too far to go. I called several times to ask for a refund of the last service. I got nowhere with them, and I feel they owe me a treatment or a refund for the service that they owe me. I was a loyal customer for 3 years and I feel they owe me money for the treatment they decided not to provide. They always got paid, but now they owe me money. I paid roughly $265.00 for the year. I feel that they owe me for 1 treatment which would be $66.25.

      BBB spoke to the business owner and the following was relayed:We did a business restructuring of our business.  We can only serve Cheektowaga, Depew and Lancaster now.  Eden is just too far for us.  We did send this customer a letter over the winter explaining this so that he could find a new company to service his lawn. After receiving the complaint, I investigated with my guy who serviced this customer's house.  When he showed up the first time we could not complete the last treatment, which we call the winterization treatment because there was a construction crew working on his house.  That is correct.  However, my guy did go back a couple days later and made the application.  We completed the last service, the winterization service.  There was no signs posted because the last service, the winterization service is a straight fertilization and there are no pesticides involved.  So we did not leave a sign.  As mentioned in this customer's complaint, due to my guy's varying schedules and the time it takes at each customer's house, we do show up without notice.  So it is possible he did not notice us there, and as I said, we did not post any signs.  Please reassure Mr. ****** that the last treatment was indeed performed though.  We appreciate his business over the last years and would not have left him without completing the last, winterization, treatment.  Thank you.

      The fact that they left no paperwork and stated that in their last response that they left no paperwork or "flags" is my only "proof" that they never came back to finish the job. If they were here, I'm honest enough to admit that. They were never here.
