I went into the store hoping to get a support for my daughter. They sold me 650 then last minute she said it is 750. We checked out and I didn't think anything of it until I got back home. I checked the receipt she sold us 90 dollars of something we didn't ask for and never received. It was not apart of any conversation we had. And it was redundant considering how much we already bought. I feel cheated and with their no return policy and purposeful lying in adding that on I am sure that everyone needs to be warned. If you go into this store don't let your guard down. Fast talking and pocketing of customer funds or over charging to be sales rewards is happening here. If they prey on older folks and women with their children they don't have a heart.Review from William W

First thing I noticed when entering the store (Albany, NY) was that both salesmen were at least 200 lbs overweight. Not a good look or "front" for the product, in my view. At my appointment time, my salesman took me back and immediately measured my feet on the pad that shows the pressure points. That's fine, however, there was little or no preliminary general discussion about me, the product/s, pricing, financing, etc. After bringing out the off-the-shelf "custom" insets, I asked the salesman about price. He said, "We don't want to discuss that right now, let's just try these on first". At that point I realized that this was a "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" scenario. We went through whole "fitting/walking" process and that was OK. Finally, when I pressed him about the price, I was told the 3 sets of insert pairs were going to cost $1500! As another reviewer had experienced, I fell out of my chair with extreme sticker shock. At that point, he mentioned the financing (thank-you-very-much). I then asked if I could get the "specs" on the inserts he was recommending and he said "No, we keep everything in-house", meaning they are not really in business of helping you. I was not even offered to keep the pressure-point carbon paper profile. Upon realizing that the "deal" was dead and that he was not going to get his commish, the salesman basically escorted me out of the store. He even put his hand on my shoulder to point me in the right direction. I was thinking of filing assault charges on this guy! I would recommend to anyone that you go see a podiatrist and stay way clear of these "Good Feet" people. Note to Good Feet responders: There is absolutely nothing you can say or do to convince me (or any other reasonably intelligent person) that charging 10 times what a podiatrist-prescribed medical-grade orthotic costs is legitimate or defensible. Sorry, you got the wrong guy.Review from Jerry M

It is like going to a snake oil sales person at a County Fair. They use balancing and weight disproportion to make you think you are getting instant strength in your legs because of these cheap arch supports they put in your shoes. I thought I would just pay the lady for the time spent and give her thirty dollars for the cheap shoe inserts. Then when I got home I see she charged my card $30 for each insert. So $60 spent on garbage and a waste of my time. She was telling me custom made inserts will cost like $1500. Then I went to an actual podiatrist and bought inserts recommended by him on amazon for Plantar fasciitis. Problem solved and no more pain. Avoid this place at all cost. Run away if you can. < Humor. Check out this place on amazon instead. > https://www.amazon.com/stores/WALK%C2%B7HEROCOMFORTANDSUPPORT/page/DFC594CF-9C41-4CF5-BA7C-7CC155ECC7ED?ref_=ast_blnReview from Joan H

Customer Review of The Good Feet Store 12/3/21 In October my husband and I visited the Good Feet Store in Buffalo. My husband has problems with balance and walking. We picked this store because it is referred to as "America's Arch Support Experts". The salesperson introduced the arch support system; four arch supports were recommended, each support costing $450.00 with a lifetime warranty. At that time we were also made aware of the company's "No Refund" policy. Because of the stores claim to be "America's Arch Support Experts" we bought into the program and were requested to sign papers stating that we understood the store's policy of "No Refunds". My husband has been using the arches for almost two months. There is no complaint using the product, however there appears to be no need for four arches. After the break in time which is about one month the same arch is worn throughout the day. Our complaint is that the arches are way overpriced. Upon reviewing various companies online who sell similar products, we discovered their costs were extremely lower, they questioned the need for numerous arches and several businesses extended money back guarantees. In conclusion, I would like to advise potential customers to be aware of the cost and no refund policy of The Good Feet Store. Please go on line and research this product before making a purchase.Review from Mike D

Went to Albany NY store for bad plantar fasciitis. And they told me to do the exact opposite of what my podiatrist has been telling me telling me to do which is stretch it and use a splint at night. So afterwards I called up my podiatrist and told him of the situation and he said it was very typical of them to say or do anything to get somebody to buy their product. I'm glad I avoided that train wreck and save $1,300 to boot. The Good Feet Store Response

Our arch supports are invented by doctors and have been put through scientific studies. Our company has been around for over 25 years. Millions of people wear our products and will continue to wear our products their entire life to help support the feet and prevent injury. Many of our customers have gone years trying all sorts of different things and spent huge amounts of money to find little or no relief. We have lifetime warranties on many of our products. We address imperfect feet that people must walk and run on every day of their life. Most people put over 100,000 miles on their feet in their lifetime. This amount of use can cause pain and misalignment. Some of our supports exercise, stretch and massage the underside of the feet with every step, similar to doing foot exercises. The supports we sell help to balance the pressure under the feet to aid in recovery. When the feet are balanced and there is less discomfort and pressure, good things happen and it works up the body, giving better balance and alignment too. Let's face it, if your feet hurt, you probably still need to go to work or do activities throughout your day. Our products lift pressure off the affected area which helps the discomfort to diminish. We sell products to address what you came in for and more. Our company is trying to, with our products, provide a solution to life long issues that plague customers. Be believe our prices are fair considering what they do and because they can be worn in most shoes over a lifetime with free replacement when they break down. Just like car tires, people just want to get down the road and not worry about their feet.
