I am an owner of a log home that the building materials were supplied by this business back 15 years ago. I started inquiring about paying for rotted dormer trim logs over a year ago in the fall of 2020. After many phone inquires that were almost fruitless we finally engaged in email conversations where I supplied actual photos of the rotted trim logs on 2nd floor dormers on the back side of the house. In addition they required actual measurements as they were precut to spec at their lumber yard. After the winter left us I had carpenters up on the roof and measured the actual lengths needed. I forwarded an email with measurements and pictures of the rotted logs on both dormers. They asked for a picture of and actual full size log to determine the type of cut on the logs. I had asked why but was dismissed as not knowing what i was talking about. 2 different women were the admin team, one is particularly rude and condescending and used " I've been out with medical issues" two times over why I was never contacted back. Finally after 4 months of having supplied the measurements, pictures etc etc they gave me a price of $623 including shipping for the logs. I supplied a debit card and 3 weeks later the logs showed up at my home in Massachusetts. I contacted them twice to inquire as to a completion time and had the usual rude attitude conveyed back to me. My carpenters arrive at the scheduled date and surprise the logs are full sized support logs, not the trim pieces that are ship lapped cut and half the size. I call the business and explain the situation, they say I'm to blame and never told them they were outside dormer trim pieces, I sent pictures to the admin email, their face book account twice. No matter lets cut the correct logs and get them down to me, they charged me anther $225 for the needed logs. I was supposed to have resolution to this issue a week ago, no contact from the owners . I want my $623 back and they can come get the wrong logs. I have all backup!
