I signed a contract with Greenview Team Landscaping for $1230.00 plus tax for the 2022 WEEKLY lawn mowing season. I have called them weekly since the last week in April for information regarding the day of the week they will be mowing. I have called each week after that, because my lawn has been mowed 3 x since April. I have left messages each time with the receptionist Tina, Donna the scheduler and Chris the owner, To this day I have not received a call back from anyone. I want my lawn mowed weekly as stated in the contract. They refuse to call back and be transparent about the current problems with their service. I have left messages that I want my money refunded so that I can arrange for a different more reliable service to mow my lawn. The Receptionist likes to use rain as the reason the lawns are not being done. ( Rain has not kept any other lawns unmowed by other services). and according to the mowers they are short staffed. Their problem is not my problem. Mowing every other week is unacceptable. Since they do not value their customers by returning calls, I am asking for a full refund so that I can get the service I want from some one else. Paying them that large sum of money up front for services was a mistake.Business response

Our office has not had any calls from her in quite a while. Our (weather permitting) weekly lawn services start at the end of April and go through the first week in November, During the first full month (May) there was a lot of rain and lawns were growing like crazy and were taking a lot longer to cut, therefore not as many lawns could be cut in a single day, pushing on to the next days and in some cases the next week. Every lawncare company has been going through the very same thing as I am sure you are aware of. With all that said, ***** ******* was lucky as the only week that she was not cut was the week of May 2, 2022. Upon looking at her lawn cutting sheet showing weeks/day of week and times, she was cut the week of April 25th, May 9th, May 16th, May 23rd, May 30th, June 6th, June 13th and will be cut again this week.
Again, our weekly service is weather permitting and we have performed our services each week, it may not be on the same day every week because of weather but it has been cut, again with the exception of the one week. She can expect going forward to being cut on the same day which looks like Thursdays for the rest of the season providing we do not come across future weather issues.

My sisters and I hired Greenview Team to provide snowplowing services for our parents during the winter 2021-22 season. Based on the representations that Greenview made to my sister when she called them to inquire and also STATED CLEARLY ON THEIR WEBSITE, regarding when snow would be shoveled/plowed by, we hired Greenview to plow my parents’ driveway and paid extra for their walkway shoveling add-on service. However, their plows rarely if ever came when they were supposed to. Their website clearly states, with no exceptions, that “ 2” of snow accumulation between 5:00pm-2:00am, you will be plowed out by 7:00am. 2” of snow accumulation between 2:00am-12:00 noon, you will be plowed out by 5:00pm.” It was based on this material representation that we contracted for their services. Nowhere do they state any kind of contingencies or qualifications to this guarantee. However, their plows almost never arrived at my parents’ home in this timeframe, or even close. Their plows almost always came hours past when they were supposed to, so that my dad often had to shovel himself by hand or was unable to get out of the house. When we called to inquire, they either told us our parents were lying and there wasn’t 2” of snow (however we independently confirmed the snow amt with a 3rd party) or they were at the bottom of their route so we couldn’t expect them to be there when they had promised they would. We were not made aware of this hidden caveat prior to hiring. Nowhere on their website, in the contract, or in my sister’s discussion with them when she called to hire them, did they ever give us warning that their location negated the very clear promise - which we relied on in contracting with them - made on their website as to when the plowing will be completed. They also inadequately performed the shoveling service, sometimes failing to do so at all, and damaged a landscaping wall and the lawn at my parents’ home.Business response

I am responding to your email that was sent to Christopher S****** (********************) regarding a complaint/concern (BBB Complaint 16922279) Please see attached all the correspondence between myself and **** ******* and her sisters regarding their parent's house.
As you can clearly see in the correspondences I have responded to their concerns in every way, and I also issued them a pro-rated refund.
