May 25, 2023 I dropped my 2021 ***** *** off at Jason's Auto Repair to get inside/outside air filter replaced also tires balanced and rotated. I picked my car up on May 31st 2023 and as soon as I started driving I noticed it didn't feel right and heard load noises coming from the tires. I went back to Jasons auto repair on the June 2nd 2023 and mentioned the noise, one of his employees came out and tightened the lug nuts and said that could of been the problem, he said If I keep hearing the noise to make an appointment. I drove the car for another 150 miles and the noise never went away. I called Jason today June 5th 2023 and he became very rude and unprofessional, he said he would put the tires back to where they were and "BE DONE WITH IT" no refund. After that I went to another mechanic ***** tires and they told me he never balanced the tires, and the damage might already be done, we decided to have ***** balance the tires for an additional cost. Jasons Auto Repair needs to refund me in full seeing they never did the job in the first place and might of done further damage to my vehicle.

      Business response

      06/06/2023

** dropped his car off with a list of preventative maintenance work he wanted done. We advised ** it would take 5-7 days before we could get vehicle in to shop.  When his car came into shop we advised him that most of the things he wanted done were not needed at his mileage. We advised of repairs that we would suggest (see attached invoice #****) At time of service we removed all 4 wheels and checked wheel balance and rebalanced as needed using cold weather stick on wheel weights. When the car was finished a road test was performed and we felt no problems with it.  The next evening he came in and said he had a thumping sound that was not there prior. A technician went out to check torque of the wheels and all were tight.  On the evening of Monday 6/5 ** called the shop and I offered him an appointment for then next available day, he refused the appointment. I told him that we would rebalance the tires at no charge. He stated " I can not make that appointment I only have 1 car and need you to take it in now and tell me what is wrong". I said that is what an appointment is for and I am unable to diagnose it now. At this point ** says" I WILL COME DOWN THERE AND PUNCH YOUR ******* FACE IN", and I hung up. He then called 4 times consecutively and every time an employee answered he screamed " HEY **** FACE" in which all the employees just hung up. ** has an anger problem and his threats are enough not to want him at my shop. My employees felt threatened  by him and have just cause to not want him here. We balanced his tires and yes, it is possible the weights fell off, however after his rage of anger towards myself and employees he is now a threat and not welcome. Attached is a revised invoice with the action previously stated for our records; his invoice will not include the note because we need to keep it on record in case an employee is harmed by him and/or property damage occurs. The problem was not Jasons Auto Repair refusing to correct the issue; it is ** threatening bodily harm to my staff. There is no signed invoice due to him paying over the phone.  If it makes ** all warm and fuzzy we will refund ** his 59.99 and sales tax, that's a small price to eliminate a problem, on his charged credit card that he used but due to safety concerns he will not be allowed on our property. WE DID BALANCE HIS TIRES AND THIS IS NOT AN ADMISSION OF GUILT; JUST A GET HIM AWAY SOLUTION. A side note, If there was no problem prior to him bringing the car in and after we repaired it there was, doesn't that indicate that work was done? No problem before and problem after something changed. Thank you. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
