      Anthony took over my policy when my other agent retired. Anthony than went and charged my mortgage a second time for homeowners insurance. Without even asking us if we wanted to change our policy causing my mortgage to go higher due to escrow shortage. Than he upped my car insurance by $200. All I want from allstate is to refund my mortgage company the full amount of the second insurance and to refund the rest of our policy to the mortgage company as well. We went and got a new insurance company one where maybe we will be in good hands, instead of dealing with a guy with his hand out. If this matter is not taken care of quickly I am going to the police for theft as I never authorized it. If anyone is thinking of switching to this guy think again. Worst experience with an insurance company ever.

       Insured's prior Allstate agent is no longer employed by Allstate. Allstate requested that I take over this insured along with other insured's due to my high ranking at Allstate as an Allstate Agent. My agency does policy reviews for all out clients every year to make sure they are properly covered, and they are getting the best rate possible for the coverage they need.  When we reviewed ***************** home policy we were able to reduce his rate from $844.16 a year in 2021 (in **** it was $893.91) to $619.38 a year. The new policy increased his coverage on all aspects at a lower premium. His policy is escrowed so what happened is that since his old policy has a renewal date of 6/9/2021 and the new policy started on 12/24/21 it was pro-rated. The unearned premium from the old policy in the amount of $386.63 was applied to the new policy. The bank during this time paid the new premium in the amount of $619.38. The insured now is getting a refund in the amount of $386.63 from the prior policy. So now the insureds escrow will go down as his insurance is $224.79 less a year with more coverage. All the insured had to do is return the payment of $386.63 to his mortgage company/escrow account. This is what happens when people change their home insurance policies mid-term. This happens on a daily basis because in NY you are entitled your unearned premium back. For example, now the insured has switched to a new company and their mortgage company is going to pay his new company the new premium. We will cancel his Allstate policy and we will send him the $619.38 back to the insured and then he will then pay that amount back to his mortgage company/escrow. 
      Regarding the increase on the auto policy that the insured is referring to is the *** sent Allstate a notice that *********************, DOB 9/16/02, is a listed operator in the household per his license address. ************** did not respond to our request to get more information about ********************* and him being listed on the Allstate auto policy. If was not to be listed, we could have provided Allstate with documentation to not have him listed. He was sent notification to contact Allstate and my office regarding ********************* being a licensed operator in the household. Since we did not get a response from **************, Allstate corporate added ********************* to his auto policy as he was not listed on the policy and should have been listed since he is a licensed driver in the household. The increase on the auto policy was ********************* being added on as an operator. Insured was not paying the correct premium for ********************* being a listed operator on the policy for past renewals as ************** failed to contact Allstate when ********************* became a licensed driver.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      This person is lying to save face. My homeowners insurance didn't end till June. I called the **** number for allstate and they said he changed my policy because he wasn't getting paid for it. With Anthony making changes WITHOUT CONTACTING ME! He now gets paid for that insurance policy. Also my son was always insured on there I had my new insurance company look it up. I can provide phone records showing that this man has never even tried to contact me. As far as the refund check that's a laugh, where is it? He claims I can just send it to my mortgage company well I've never gotten a refund check. Not to mention since I canceled my insurance with allstate they should have sent the full amount of the teft payment back and than refunded me out of the balance that would have been left over from the first homeowners policy. I also see no reason why he can't send the money back to my mortgage. He had no problem sticking his hand out for money he should have no problem refunding it. I am also going to post these messages on social media so people know not to use this insurance company. The inconvenience and stress that this company has causes us is just disgusting. Than to go on here and flat out lie to try and make me look like the one who's wrong. I called your office the other day and you knew you were wrong which is why you wouldn't answer the phone or call me back. What a great way to run a business.

      Hello, 
      Your auto and home policies were assigned to me on April 5th, 2021. Since your prior agent was no longer with Allstate, and Allstate did not want you to go without an agent, Allstate requested that I take over your policies along with many other insureds from that agents office. Allstate has been paying me the entire time for taking over these policies. I am not sure who told you that I was not getting paid as we can pull that phone recording to figure that out.I have been and I will continue to get paid for the policies that I have acquired from your old agent as I am the new agent on these policies. When your policies were reviewed, I reduced your rates for you and provided you with more coverage. I apologize about the misunderstanding on the billing as this is a very common thing in the insurance industry and escrow payments. For example,your policies with Allstate have been cancelled as your new agent sent us the cancellations forms. I have spoken with your new agent, and she understands this process as well. You are going to be getting that refund since you own the policy, not the mortgage company. We cannot legally send the refund to your mortgage company as you are the owner of the policy. I cannot change the laws for your policy. The mortgage company in turn is going to get a **** from your new insurance company and they are going to make that payment for that policy now. You then will simply send your refund from Allstate to your mortgage company, so your escrow does not change. In the very first situation your escrow was going to go down once you returned that refund to your mortgage company. I do not know if your new insurance is less than Allstate however with the new Allstate policy your escrow was going to go down. 
      Regarding your son ***** and being listed on the policy- As I have stated before, Allstate received notification from the *** that ***** Tubai is a licensed driver in the household. Allstate corporate office sent you notifications requesting a response. Allstate will not add the young driver right away as they give you time to provide information in case they are not to be listed.You never responded to those notifications so that is the reason why your auto policy rate went up, not because as you stated, upped my car insurance by $200, guy with his hand out or sticking his hand out for money he should have no problem refunding it. It was Allstate corporate office adding your son ********************* to your policy who should have been listed and was not as you were not paying the correct premium since he was licensed and lives in your household. I have attached the last 3 renewals where he is not a listed operator on the policy and the renewal that was coming up in March 2022 along with the notice of him being added to the policy. 


      Per your last call to my office, you stated aggressively that you wanted to come into my office in person and tell us how you really felt in person to get your point across. After that comment and threat, I advised your new agent that the policies were being cancelled which they have been and to call me if there are any issues. She did ask that I call you however as I explained to her, I will not call after comments like that are made. Its apparent that you want to go with this new agent who used to work for your old Allstate agent. The bottom line is that I reviewed your policy and because of that your overall rates decreased with better coverage. Your auto policy went up because Allstate corporate found another driver in your home and you were notified about this with no response from you. I have been an agent for a very long time and have loyal customers that refer many to our agency because of our service. I have also had numerous referrals from your old agents clients like yourself after I have helped them with their insurance as many of them have stated that their policies have not been reviewed in years which we like to do once a year. Weve never had a complaint on any level, which is one of the reasons why Allstate corporate chose my agency to take over these policies to begin with. It is truly sad that after all of these years, a person like you feels it is necessary to make a complaint like this after my family and I have built this company with hard work and dedication. You stated that you want to smear my name all over social media. If you choose to do this, I will seek legal counsel as this is another threat towards my familys livelihood. Youve asked for your policies to be canceled and they have been. You have been issued a full refund. I wish you all the best with your new agent.

      You absolutely had no right to change my policy. Yes please call allstate corporate and pull that phone call. They flat out told me you were not getting paid which is why you did it. You had no other reason to look into my insurance policy. If you had so many clients as you claim you wouldn't have had time. Yes I absolutely can and have put my experience with you and your business on social media. I have all rights to do that as this is my experience with your company and my opinion. I never threatened you so again you lie. Your still trying to save face. I personally am going to review the business on yelp and ****** and anywhere else I can as that is my right! I will continue to tell everyone and anyone who will listen how you still have not sent us a refund on our first policy that never should have been changed. Now I have to wait even longer for you to send another one I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to go to the police and file charges because now it's theft. Also many of your former customers agree with my opinions. This website also says to leave names out of it but that doesn't matter to you. I am on here to get my refunds! You were wrong be a good business owner admit you were wrong and give me back my money! On Tuesday if I don't have my refunds I will be going and speaking with everybody I can to get this resolved and to make sure you can never do what you've done to my family to anybody else. Oh and for the record the name you keep mentioning he lives in Albany. Do I live in Albany? Nope I don't. So by all means continue with your lies to make yourself feel better, but at the end of the day YOU were WRONG! You owe me money! I should take you to court to *** for my money back, and emotional stress. I see you have time to write messages on here but not write a check. The difference between you and I is I don't lie. Yes I did post about my experience and our whole conversation back and forth. You however keep denying you were wrong and won't refund the money. So yes you are sitting there with your hand out collecting interest on that money and collecting a payment for policies I didn't ask to be changed! Oh and I never received a letter from allstate about the person living here. So again continue with your lies because that can get you into court.
