I ******** *** was driving my husband's 2006 ***** ******* on ***** Rd Rexford N.Y. 12148 @ approximately 6AM on September 29, 2023. My vehicle Driver's side tire fell off vehicle. My Husband's Insurance company ******** ******** has road side assistance. I informed them right away and I was waiting for a Tow truck. State Trooper pulled up behind me. I was on a residencal road and not blocking traffic. State Trooper insisted he has to get a Tow company as i already informed him a company from my insurance company was coming.Trooper's Name & Badge number ***** **** ******* **** on site, Officer ******* **** was not on site. The Tow company that came to pick up vehicle was Kinetic ************* ** *** ******* ** ******. Kinetic charge for tow is 300+Tax & 35 dollars storage fee per day. I informed officer's my Insurance offers Towing and i do not have cash or credit to pay a different company a Towing company is on their way from my Insurance. This is not Justice now i'm in hardship.Initial Complaint

On 9/13 this company was called by an officer to tow my car because it was taking too long for my insurance company to send someone out. I made clear I did not have the money to pay beforehand and they took my car anyway. I went through my insurance company to pay not only the tow fee but the $75 per day storage fee. My insurance company has called Kinetic multiple times to resolve this issue, left several messages, and they have never answered or returned their calls. This is going on day 7. Which means an extra $525 for Kinetic in storage fees. My insurance company continues to call. When I call Kinetic’s they tell me they haven’t heard from anyone. The calls are all logged in the insurance company’s system. They read them all to me. Please contact my insurance company ASAP.Business response
