            Moved in April 2021 and had no shower for 4 months • got placed into a handicapped apartment with a 6 month old at the time • apartment was NOT clean at the time of move in • still don’t have a spare key because it’s too thick for all the locks • can’t baby proof underneath sinks because it is a handicapped apartment • no bath tub • forced our name out of the utility bill and is forcing us to pay it back like it’s our fault • apartment is downstairs and next to the maintenance room and they come in at 6-6:30 and throw things in the maintenance room ( quiet hours end at 8 and my baby sleeps in the room by the maintenance room) • the window in my living room doesn’t lock and I had to force one to lock • door to go outside doesn’t lock • floor is always freezing cold and my baby gets sick from it • no sound proofing, I can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the apartments surrounding mine

            I recently rented a rehab home that Sec. 8 takes care of. They’ve been running this like a business. The ladies did nothing but lie on me and I honest to God for the last four months they try to get rid of me for my ES since I couldn’t now they’re saying they got in my house more than once to manipulate me as a customer not as a voucher holder they should be working with me not against me. We have three more buildings opening up. They’re gonna have a apartment auction. I advise people not to even bother. I’ve been with that program for over 20 years, and they threw me away like I was nothing, didn’t even bother to verify anything that was done no cameras they don’t work so that they don’t help well they don’t help as well very dissatisfied and ashamed of what they became money business people instead of helping the needy
