Moved in April 2021 and had no shower for 4 months • got placed into a handicapped apartment with a 6 month old at the time • apartment was NOT clean at the time of move in • still don’t have a spare key because it’s too thick for all the locks • can’t baby proof underneath sinks because it is a handicapped apartment • no bath tub • forced our name out of the utility bill and is forcing us to pay it back like it’s our fault • apartment is downstairs and next to the maintenance room and they come in at 6-6:30 and throw things in the maintenance room ( quiet hours end at 8 and my baby sleeps in the room by the maintenance room) • the window in my living room doesn’t lock and I had to force one to lock • door to go outside doesn’t lock • floor is always freezing cold and my baby gets sick from it • no sound proofing, I can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the apartments surrounding mineBusiness response

Good afternoon ****, I’m sorry I missed you on more than one occasion. I did receive the complaint regarding ****** V. I followed up with the property manager, and maintenance to gather information and found that the only issue we were aware of was the single key. I acknowledge that it is not ideal to provide one key for two adults, and have since instructed our team to ensure the tenants receive the additional key to their apartment. I have reviewed the lease, the pre-move in inspection, and the acknowledgement of the handicapped accessible unit addendum, all signed by the tenants with no notes of complaint. Their have been two recent visits to the apartment, one for a smoke detector check and one for an annual inspection, and the tenants did not voice any of the concerns listed on the complaint through your office. We are happy to resolve any issues that we can with the tenant should they chose to engage with the property manager on site. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
