Date of transaction: July 11th 2024 Amount in question: $2000.00 Method of payment: Zelle transfer I had engaged with this furniture supplier for an order and sent the above amount to him (***********************) directly. We had agreed on an order including a 7 piece dining set, a king bed frame, box, mattress, two nightstands, a dresser and mirror coming to a total of ******* including delivery and setup to our home in *******. ******** was promised for July 15th and as such, the above was sent as a deposit. He had accepted the deposit and then mentioned the desired furniture was not available and would take several weeks to become available. He tried to substitute pieces and then when we had agreed on a final revised selection he refused to deliver. He stopped responding to messages and phone calls and has not returned the deposit. Now I am out $2000.00 with an unfurnished home for 2+ months and have missed out on other deals.Initial Complaint

On 11/23/21 I purchased sofas from this store. The owner of employee said the original price was 19000$ but he give it to me for 1500$ I deposited 1000$ and agreed to pay the rest when I get paid. When delivery came I paid the delivery fee and the owner and I had few words cause he assume I suppose to pay the balance upon delivery and I told Him I get paid the following week he wanted the delivery guy to take the furniture back and not give me a refund but reattempt delivery for extra fee but re solve that by me sending him a video of me agreeing to paying the remaining funds. Later on I told him the sofa was peeling and that he look faded he said I have 5 year warranty and I told him this sofa is brand new according to what he saying I shouldnt have to use warranty especially it less then a week since I bought it. He harass me about the money I lost my phone and few days later I find it and explain to him I use a app to help me find it and that I had the money I read the messages he sent me prior but he called me a liar and I read a message of him saying Just so you know I over charged you for the sofas cuz I had a feeling you was going to do something funny like this have a good life this guy harass me for money that he was overcharging me for furniture the arms of the sofa were peeling couch looked faded and I told him that he said the sofa had 5 years Warranty for arms and legs of the sofa just to find out he lied about everything including warranty he overcharge me for sofa and there no warranty he was rude talking to delivery guy in Spanish cursing me out in different language that I dont understand but the delivery guy were laughing he was disrespectful curse me out in text messages and at this point I want a refund or exchange he can keep this furniture or he can replace the arms that are peeling I want the 5 year warranty that he promised and I pay the amount of which the furniture is worth since he said he over charge meCustomer response
