            I hired Summit Home Rehab LLC to perform a large job in Troy NY to renovate a 4 plex I own in Troy NY. For the first phase of constructions (structural, rough-ins, drywall) We signed a contract for > 100k in Sep 2020. The deposit was paid and 25% tranches of the construction amount were paid. Upon starting construction we were provided an additional bill for > 15k for materials price increases which was paid immediately. There were negotiations with the city around fire suppression systems which ended in November with the city agreeing with our architect and allowing us not to do fire suppression. At that point, work was supposed to resume but the entire company dropped off the face of the earth and stopped responding to our calls. A few times I was able to get in contact with Sean who stated he would provide status and get back to working on the project but never did. Now, I have been unable to contact the contractor for months and am out > 120,000 USDs paid in full without work done.
