The night before I took my car in, I noticed that I had about $10 in change in my console. I thought that I should take it out, but then I figured that Carstar was a respectable establishment, and that I shouldn’t have to worry about something so minor. When I picked up my car there was 78 cents in the console. I was offended, and immediately called and spoke to John. When I told him the issue, I was told that that could never have happened at his establishment. When I filled out the survey about my experience, I wrote about this issue. When I returned to Carstar to have one of the mistakes repaired, I brought the matter of the missing change up to Brandy. I was again told that none of the employees would ever do a thing like that. I was politely told that I was a liar by both employees. When I picked up my car, I noticed a scratch in the door handle and a blemish in the paint on the quarter panel. Mistakes happen and I was told that if I bring my vehicle back, the problems would be repaired. It was quite inconvenient for me to return my vehicle and I spent over $50 on Ubers that day, as my insurance wouldn’t cover a rental again. When I returned that day the scratch in the door handle was repaired, but the paint blemish was not. I had to return yet again to have that problem resolved. Another inconvenience to me. I have had my vehicle back for a month or so, and several times the left license plate light has fallen out and I have had to pop it back in. The last time it came out, I took a closer look and noticed that the clip which holds the fixture in had a small crack in it and this was why it would not stay in place. It cost me $51.03 for a new fixture. It is ridiculous that a broken piece was put back into my vehicle. I have sent many people to Carstar over the years, and they have always provided quality service. Apparently, they no longer care about doing a job right or customer satisfaction.
