Green **** Construction was contracted to remodel my kitchen in April of 2023. As of date my Kitchen has not been finished. My Kitchen was demoed in late ApKitchen. and I was originally informed that completion would take anywhere from 4- 6 months.At the time of contract I was quoted $50000.00 to remodel. This included new floors, walls, ceilings, bathroom, laundry room, mud room and pantry and window replacement. After the initial deposit of $20000.00, ***** sent several requests via text and on the phone for additional monies to purchase cabinets and countertops. Green **** was given an additional $20000.00 explicitly for the purchase of cabinets and the countertops. As of date there have been no cabinets installed.We do not have a functioning Kitchen. There are no cabinet, counters , sink and none of our appliances have been installed. One wall has no electricity in the outlets. ***** claimed the electrician would connect when the cabinets were installed .We were contacted by ***** first advised the cabinets were on back order. That there was a supply chain issue. Then when they finally came in we were advised that there was damage to one of the cabinets so the complete order had to be redone to insure cabinets fit properly. Finally in April '24 the cabinets were in a warehouse in **********. But then there were weather issues.Up until today, I was still hoping that they would come and honor their contractual obligations. Today they had the portapotty that has been in my backyard for over a year removed. To me this served as final notice that they had no intention on completing my kitchen.At this point I am at a lost of what do do to have this job completed. We want them to provide the cabinets and counter top or refund us our money.Business response

i have spoken to the client a few times this month. i explained to them the kitchen cabinets are on back order. i also went to ********** where the cabinets are coming from and a few of them came broken which has also staled the process. client has been informed and we are in constant contact with themInitial Complaint

Greentree construction did cement and stucco job in my backyard in 2021 and the cement started cracking and the stucco is falling apart, all this happened in six months. I've been complaining to them about this situation and they came over this year (2022) and even took videos of the damage and confirmed that it should be repaired under the agreement ( the damage happened less than one year of the job being completed). I am still complaining to the front office and management and still nothing is being done. I just want the repairs to be done once and all.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction: 11/4/2019 **************** Services provided: roof repair Greentree Construction Inc. was hired in 2019 to repair the roof of my home. It took the company two weeks to respond to my inquiry after they were contacted. In the contract between the company and I, the salesman at the time wrote that the roof/repair would be covered for 15 years under warranty. The roof began leaking, which prompt us to contact the company as it should be covered under warranty. A manager of the company stated that the salesman should not have wrote that the repair would be under warranty for 15 years and that they would not honor what was written in the original contract because the salesman who wrote the information is no longer with the company.Business response

To whom it may concern. My name is ***********************. I am the ** of GreenTree Construction. One of my salesmen who is no longer with me wrote up this job in 2019. He promised these people a 15 year roof which is not our policy. As you can see on the first page of the contract it clearly states 1 year warranty. I explained this to the clients. I also explained to them that I would charge them my cost of the service call to fix whatever issue they are having. I will not make one single dollar on this, I just want them to be happy. Construction on my roof with Greentree Construction occurred on July 16, 2021. Agreed upon in the contract was the removal of the old roof (down to the wood) and the installation of a new firestone rubber roof. The contractor was to notify the homeowner when the roof was completely removed to determine if the wood would need to be replaced. But the construction crew did not notify me, only sending pictures after the roof was installed and they had left for the day. I contacted Greentree Construction within an hour of the completion of the work with pictures of the poorly installed roof that had gaps and areas left uncovered with the firestone material that was used. When I brought my concerns to the contractor, ***** ******, he dismissed them and defended the construction crew without coming out to see the work himself in person. We have new areas of water leakage (especially after Hurricane Ida) and part of the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom is caving in due to water damage.Business response
