BBB spoke to management at the business and the following was relayed: The customer brought his car in for an alignment.  We did the alignment for him and he paid for the alignment.  Customer came back later saying that the alignment work that we did caused his brake pads and routers to be compromised.  This is not true or possible, however, as a good faith effort we gifted customer free front end brake pads and routers.  Then, customer returns 2 weeks after the free work we did for him and claims that another shop told him that we didn't replace the parts that we said we did.  This was another non truth.  Manager put car up on lift at this point to show the customer that the parts were new.  This is when the customer became aggressive and started screaming at my manager and workers.  We called the police to have him removed.  After doing the alignment work that was paid for and  gifting this customer with free front end brake work and parts-- only to have him cause a scene and become aggressive with my manager and workers, we are respectfully done with this customer and this matter.  We stand by the facts in this matter and even went above and beyond initially by gifting customer with free labor and parts.  Therefore, we have nothing more to say or do.  Thank you.

see attached.  full response attached.  partially transcribed below  To whom it may concern, Mr. ****** did come into our shop to have repairs done (2/6/23).  There was an issue with a loose caliper bolt, after the repair.  We repaired that issue with our apologies.  On 2/9/23 Mr. ****** came in and we explained that the left front brakes were dragging and did not charge him anything for the diagnosis.  He returned 18 days later (2/27/23) to complain that the vehicle was still pulling, we once again explained the brakes were dragging.  On 3/1/23 we replaced the brakes at no charge, however the issue was that the left front caliper was bad because the piston was locked up.  We paid for the replacement of the brake pads, rotors and brake hose and only charged him for the caliper replacement.  On 3/3/23 he returned again accusing us of not replacing the parts we charged him for.  When I took him out to the car to show him the parts we replaced he became agitated and aggressively entered my physical space (got in my face).  I took a step back and he again stepped forward into my personal space.  I first asked then told him to get out of my face and leave our facility.  He refused until the police arrived and made him do so.  I provided Mr. ****** with receipts and documentation of the repairs we charged him for and the ones we didn't charge him for.  At that time the police asked him to leave.  After he left we also found lower control arm bushing had excessive play.  We replaced that and aligned the vehicle at no charge.  We also found that the rear brakes were also sticking we serviced the rear break the best we could without new parts (at no charge) and replaced the If brake hose at no charge to make sure that wasn't causing any issue. I feel we have gone above and beyond for Mr. ****** and provided $100's of service and parts at our own expense.  Please see the notes on all the repair orders he sent and the additional ones he didn't send that I had provided him as well.  The better business bureau also did an investigation and found that Mr. ****** was in the wrong and not Valley Tire.   Thank you for your time and understanding ***** R******  General Manager Valley Tire Pros
