      12/19/2022, I came home to no heat so I called Belknap Heating & Cooling as they were the only ones to answer the phones, they charged me $118.54 to come out and tell me the problem with my furnace, the technician told me it was my igniter and to call the office in the morning, he told me they charge $151 a hour,. 12/20/2022 I called Belknap Heating & Cooling and they stated they had the igniter and would be out to install it that afternoon, they arrived around 3pm, the technician installed the igniter and the heat worked, they charged me $448.20 for parts and labor, they charged my card $451.31. The part only costs $65 and was told by the technician on 12/19/2022 that they charge $151 an hour, so how does a 5 minute job and a $65 part cost all together $569.85? Please help

      I have attached his complaint to the AG & Kyle’s reply (Service Director) And the invoices and a copy of the google complaint on our page. The customer was aware part may be obsolete as furnace is 28 years old and beyond life span.       BBB spoke to Dawn at the business and the following was relayed:

      The invoice reflects the accurate bill as this was a flat rate job and price that included the parts, service time, and travel time. The customer was given the flat rate price the following morning after the diagnosis and approved it prior to our completing the job.
