Purchased a 2009 ***** ********* for my son. A few days after we picked up the truck, we noticed that part of the frame was rusted, patch welded (poorly) & it was never disclosed to us, which it’s supposed to be. When I went back to the dealership, I requested a refund. I did not trust them to do the work on it. Jim, Dave & the woman who works in the office were extremely rude & disrespectful. Dave acted like he didn’t know the law like he didn’t know they was anything wrong with the frame. Dave called the cops on us. Police came & said they go there 1x/week for customer complaints. I reported the dealership to the DMV & will be filing a lawsuit. Stay away! Scammers! Scumbags!!

Purchased an suv from them which I have had for less than 60 days. Oil pressure light started to come on sporadically just as it was time for an oil change. Tech at ***** **** said it was probably just the sensor and to bring it back to where I bought it. So I did. The owner Dave was very rude to me over the phone, setting it down and talking to other people in the background when I was just trying to ask him what was going on with the diagnosis of the issue. Then WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION they replaced the sensor and tried threatening me that they would take the part out when I asked why it was repaired without me being called for authorization since I dropped it off for a diagnosis only, not a repair. I could have gone with my gut and just replaced the sensor myself, but figured the guy who sold me a " safe vehicle for my family " wouldn't be such a shady person to deal with. I was very wrong. They not only " couldn't find the old parts they replaced" (which by nys law im allowed to ask for those parts back) then claimed it wouldn't run and I needed a tow truck to take the car in the same breath. Beware of L&M motors!! These guys are only it it for the money

My daughter's car was towed to L&M Motors following a car accident while at college. It took me 24 days to recover my vehicle because the owner Dave made it impossible. He wanted to purchase my vehicle for a ridiculous price and when I said no all things went bad. He would regularly hang up on me, my wife and the insurance company. My insurance company sent tow trucks on several occasions to retrieve my vehicle but were unable due to Dave thwarting their efforts. Ultimately I had to take off from work, drive 3 hours and pay for the initial tow and 24 days storage in the amount of $2313. Cash only. His whole objective is hold your car for ransom by making it extremely difficult to communicate and if you don't pay he acquires your vehicle. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this rude and unprofessional person and his business

WARNING, BEWARE. They are very unpleasant people to work with. My car was towed there after an accident. Very difficult time trying to get my car out of their lot. Every time you call Dave he would hang up on you because he didn't want to talk anymore or his partner would say he will call you back if he felt like it, or just never answer. My husband called once and he got upset with him and then was told he wouldn't release our car unless we paid him cash (over $2000) because he didn't like him. We had to have the police show up there with us. Stay away.

I put $300 down on a car and when he gave the money to his partner he said three two I was a little confused but after I googled the VIN number I figured it out the three two is what he made off of us $3,200 you should say that after people leave the office mind you you got the car from auction for $50 but with auction fees and everything you paid about two grand. 2006 Chevy equinox on their lot is a straight lemon they bought it at auction for $50 paid a total of two grand to get it to them did zero things to it and was selling it for $5, 500 he knock down the car to $5,400 for us. Thankfully I went back the next day and got my $300 back just the future reference Google the VIN number he bought the car from autobid.com also and if you're the owner of this company and you don't like this review while I got screenshots to prove all this too with the price you paid from the company and if you Google the VIN number of the equinox you're selling it comes back as $50 at auction

I have known the owner of L&M Motors for fifty years and considered him a friend so that is why I am so disappointed and hurt that he would sell such a bad vehicle to my grandson. When I first went in the office to wait for my grandson I found Dave had been in the hospital and due to come back the next day. The two men I spoke with were miserable individuals. One of those men is named Jim and is responsible for getting this vehicle(2006 **** **** ********* ******* *******) from the auction I was told. The bed of the truck was totally rusted out and Dave did get another bed for it and put on. So okay everybody is happy.(not me because I did not believe it was a good choice but he wanted to choose on his own) He loved his truck but in October he fell asleep and went off the road into someones yard, took their mailbox down and ended up in a wet soggy field. There was some front end damage but no air bags ever came out. Also the passenger side was scraped by a small tree and again the air bags never came out. Now I wonder if there were any in the truck. Well we just junked it. It was taken to the a scrap yard on a trailer and when they picked it up to put in the pile the truck broke in half!!!! They said the box only had 3 bolts in it and the frame was totally rotted out, so this truck should never have been on the road much less have an inspection sticker on it done by L& M motors. Also note the tires were about bald and the roads were wet. My grandson felt if he gotten his new tires by then he may have saved going off the road. I can't stop thinking what if that bed flew off and hit a car with kids in it. When he called that morning he was so upset and crying so hard. I will thank God no one got hurt but do I think I should get my money or part of it back? Most definitely!!! This was a real ****** deal. And I had to help him get another vehicle. Please everyone unless you are a mechanic and know what to look for when buying a used car don't go to L & M MOTORS in East Greenbiush.
