They recently were bought out by another company with no warning to patients. I had been paying a flat amount at each of my sessions. Suddenly I get a bill in the mail from this pt company I don’t know claiming to be SportsPT and I owe them $40 because they claim I paid a third of what I actually was charged on my last appointment. The receptionist has also messed up handing me someone else’s appointment information so I wonder if she messed up on who’s account I paid. The receipts have no account information to verify you actually paid on yourself. I try calling and the line is disconnected for the main office for billing. I’ve mailed back the bill asking for an itemized list or explanation because the random dollar amounts on this do not match any of my receipts. I get no response back except for them sending the same bill to me again. I’m not paying a company I never went through when I don’t even know what this charge is for. I thought the initial bill was a scam and I’m not convinced it isn’t still.Review from Douglas W

I had been going there for PT on shoulder. I have a provider through work who handles PT benefits. I had my appointments and kept asking if my provider is still coverring and adding additional coverage. Was told were working with them and benefits are continuing. Appointments were still being scheduled even though I kept asking about coverage. I just got a bill for $680 for appointments that had not been covered since my coverage ended. They never told me my coverage stopped even after 8 additional appointments. They let it go for over a month. They just let it go like everything was ok even after asking. I just had shoulder surgery again and will choose a PT provider with greater integrity. Just got approved for 60 appointments, there loss. I am also contacting BBB and attorney.
