In ‘22 we purchased a home that had solar panels installed by APS. In January ‘23 I had contact APS regarding being set up with their app associated with the solar panels. After repeat attempts of contacting APS we were finally able to schedule a time. Setting up the app only required a call to the manufacturer which I feel could have been done without a visit. This of course came with a $130 fee. After gaining access to the app, I realize that two of the panels were not working and had not been since 2021. I contacted APS in April 2023 in regards to getting this fixed while the panels were still under warranty. After multiple email messages being sent from April through the end of June in regards to having a technician come and look at them we were finally able to have someone come out and look at them and hopefully rectify the situation, which of course came with another $130 fee. The technician was unable to fix the problem on that visit and said that he would need to order a part and he would be back. In November of 2023 the part was still not in and APS was unable to get a clear date from the manufacturer of when it would be in. I was finally notified in late November that the part was in and that they would schedule for the technician to come out and install it in the beginning of December. Due to weather, the insulation kept getting delayed and the insulation was finally completed in the beginning of February 2024. This time APS sent to technicians because the technician felt it would be safer if he had help. I was handed a bill which reflected, paying for both of their time and labor. I let them know that I would be calling the office and speaking with them I signed the contract and sent them on their way. I called the office and told them that I would only be paying for one of the technicians labor because it was safe enough the first time for only one technician and nothing had changed on our end. I am now being asked to pay the rest of the bill.
