I purchased a driving package for my husband. Unfortunately, the service provided in the three sessions that he received was subpar to say the least. The instructor was unaware of our neighborhood and asked my husband where he had practiced in the area. When my husband mentioned a nearby cemetery, they did not even attempt to drive anywhere else. For two one hour sessions (more or less because it was often cut short), my husband drove around a cemetery. This is something that I have done with my husband on my own, I thought that paying for a professional would provide a different experience from what I have already done.Some may say that he drove in the cemetery because he is not ready for driving in the street. If that were the case, and perhaps the instructor considered him a "beginner", then I would hope that my husband would be given some basics (hand placement, how far in advance to put on your indicator, etc). None of that happened. I had to use ****** (it has been 15 years since I obtained my driver's license) to learn of the changes (hands at 9 and 3 on the wheel no longer at 10 and 2). The one ****** that my husband was asked to drive on the street, the instructor got out of the car and was confrontational with another driver when that driver honked at my husband at a stop sign. This obviously is improper behavior as a driver, but even more so when you are to be an example to a new driver.I have paid for a service that I have not received. I am seeking a new instructor and some sort of reimbursement. It is unacceptable that with the money I paid my husband drove around a cemetary and was not even taught any updates enacted by the National Highway ***************************** (NHTSA) when driving with an improper 10 and 2 (as he was previously taught prior to the changes).When I spoke to a representative over the phone I was told to send an e-mail outlining my complaints. I sent two, 10/24 and 11/11, and have not heard anything.Customer response
