I am asking Yoga 6 Eastchester to cancel my gym membership. *************************, the general manger failed to reply to my last 2 emails. A copy of all the emails is attached. Yoga 6 refuses to cancel my membership despite half a dozen requests. Yoga 6 is requesting that I pay $149 for the month of May 15th to June 15th for classes that due to injury, I can not attend. Yoga 6 repeatedly attempts to bill my credit card on file for $149, despite asking them to please stop. I emailed ***** on May 16th, asking to please cancel my gym membership as I cannot attend yoga classes due to a shoulder injury. ***** replied, Members can freeze up to 3 months and we waive the $15 fee if it's medical related. Not paying your last month due to your injury seems unfair when we can accommodate a freeze. I email ***** back and explained that due to my injury I would not be able to return to yoga within Yoga 6s 3-month requirement, and your policy is unfair to me. ***** did not reply and refuses to address this situation. I explained that it is unfair to require me to purchase a month of yoga classes at $149 that I cannot use. I am willing to pay Yoga 6 the $15 cancellation fee in order to resolve this matter. I sent ***** proof of my injury. Copies are attached. I also offered 3 times to send ***** a letter from the doctor as well. There was no reply. It also seems that there should be an exception to company policy due to a medical hardship. I have paid for every class that I have taken. I was a customer for 9 months. I notified ***** as soon as possible. As you can see from the medical bills, I have incurred medical expenses of $917.57, out of my own pocket. I will incur additional medical expenses before and after surgery. I have 2 children ages 8 and 9, and my medical expenses are already a financial hardship. Requiring me to pay $149 would just make my financial hardship worse. Please cancel my membership. Please let me know how to pay the $15 cancellation fee.
