Jeremy S from C&T Exteriors never completed the contracted metal roof installation on our new 3 car garage after multiple phone calls, voice messages, texts and email. He is not a good communicator and was not prepared to honor the contract by installing the roof. We lost faith in his ability to complete the roof at all. His inaction held up 5 other contractors that were scheduled after the roof installation. Additional time, money and administration was required to contract with a new metal roof installation company, and order the correct metal materials in December 2021. He worked on the roof with 2 other employees on 3 separate days over a 6 week period. We had to regularly contact him to ask him to get moving on the roof installation and if there was a problem. During this time from the end of October 2021 to the middle of December he gave us a variety of reasons why he was delayed or could not work on our new garage....reasons included COVID, family issues, took on other work and weather. There was also a problem with the lengths and how the metal was bent that was partially not his fault, yet he should have measured the roof and looked closer at the drawings before we ordered the metal from *** ***** ***** company. His bid was 1 of 4 estimates that was competitive with another similar estimate. He came highly recommended from ****** company and that is why he was contracted with. After our attorneys advised us to terminate his contract for the job, we hired a new metal roof contractor for double the price of his estimate. This put us out of budget and slowed the garage construction by over 1 month. We highly recommend that he not be engaged to install roofing based on our bad experience with him and other documented jobs he has not completed for other customers as noted online.
