Tours Calypso **** *** ****** ********* **** *****.Tour Calypso owes me ******* dollars as a refund, for a proposed trip with to the Holy Land which never came to fruition.This trip was to include travel insurance, of which the travel insurance policy was never issued, received nor sent. This refund was discussed with ****************************** of Tour Calypso, manager, travel agent and registered notary in the *****************, where he stated that he would honor this commitment to repayment. Ample time has passed for Tour Calypso to make good on its repayment. ************* on the 27th of October 2022 committed to a repayment schedule would commence on the 15th of December at the sum of ****** dollars until the complete repayment wasmade. To date one repayment of ****** has occurred, ( March 2023 ) and several attempts have been made to discuss this. Previously emails were answered explaining why repayment hasnt been made, and I agreed that reasonable allowance would be made in consideration of the Pandemic, the holidays and the apparent lack of funds of Tour Calypso. This reasonable allowance has long passed. Also it was explained that PayPal was no longer used for repayment and that Zelle was the preferred form for this transaction. Additionally a message was received stating repayment would commence the 15th of March, and only one payment has been made.This request for cancellation and refund was due to many factors. This includes the pandemic, a death with family emergency, an incident regarding another member of the proposed tour which reflected a negative reputation of this tour operator and agency.Customer response

My husband and I where supposed to travel to ****** august 7 2022 . When we try to board our flight we didnt have a ****** I was told by *************************** I didnt need one , after that he promised us we will travel in a later date ! Failed in November failed in April and now two weeks before our date august6 failed again to deliver what he promised a milln times you will travel , the flight where supposed be open for a year the tours hotels food I have not use was supposed be there for us ,but nothing nothing ! He has play a horrible mind game with me I honestly dont understand why he didnt get me the flight why ? I could use it,I soend4000 plus some in this trip and didnt go anywhere . Now I book with another company I wish he refunded my money !Business response

Dear Better Business Bureau,
There is no basis for this complaint. Last year on July 2022, ************************* and her husband purchase a tour to ****** from us. We gave her vouchers and tickets. When she went to the airport , she was not allowed to travel because she did not have the proper documentation for the trip and have not a process a valid ******* ***** It is clients responsibility to have all their proper documentation. We are not responsable for her showing up at the airport whithout proper documents and no *****
The airlines and the local operators penalized her heavily for not showing up in ******. Our policies are clearly stated on the "General Conditions and Responsibilities Form" that everyone recieves before the trip. So she cannot say that she never read or was not exposed to our policies
****************** has forced us and demanded from us that she and her husband be givng the trip again and for free. We have done everything humanly possible to help her and we were able to get some of it back
She demanded from us that she be reserve for August 2023 without paying a ***** more. We told her that August was an extremely high season month and would be hard to board them for the trip.
We eventually were ***** with her and we told her that we cannot board them and that we would do all possible to try for the end of September ot for October this year. We told her that we would cover part of the trip and that she needed to pay for some part of it also
She got very upset I presumed, because, next time I get a notification from the BBB that she had put a complaint. So again this client never travel and did not used our services overseas
Her only goal is to travel for free and she is constantly trying to get from us the trip without paying a *****. This is outrageus an extorsion and we would not permitted. She need to pay part of the trip if she wants to travel
We would not budge on these principles and policies

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[Your Answer Here]
He lies ! I was promise something and that was never delivered . I was never billed and never ask for more money . Now the situation change : ************* decide to rembolso some of the money ! Mostly of the money according to him and send me 350$ and promised he will send me money every month .I honestly dont know what to expect since I was promised my trip. I ask from the BBB advise in how to dealt with ************* if he doesnt complete refunding my money? This is no a matter that I did ent have a ****** The matter is what I was promised after the fact ! I really appreciate your support , thank you !
