On Friday 10/06/2023 around 4pm I walked into YESAUTO *** dealership to inquire about a 2022 Tesla Model 3 with ****** miles they had advertised on cargurus.com for $24,900.00. I was immediately greeted by ****, one of the salespeople working that day. I drove test the car and I decided to purchase it. **** and I agreed to a price of $24,500.00, a reduction of $400 plus tax and $350.00 for DMV registration and title fee. He spoke about other fees of $995 and $895, but he was not too clear about them. I gave him a certified check with a down payment of $10,000.00 and I agreed to finance the rest of the balance. It was getting dark and late, and I asked for the loan paperwork. Around 8pm, I signed all the paperwork thinking that everything was in order. I left the dealer with the car and drove back to *********, **, my hometown. Next day, I decided to review what I signed for to the surprise that I paid $26,390.00 for the car, $350 registration/title fee, plus *****% in taxes, when the tax rate in Monroe County for a used car purchase is 8%. The following day I sent an email to the dealer about the discrepancy, I received no reply from them. I called the dealership, spoke to **** and ***** (the finance guy), and they said there is nothing that they can do about it. I have the Bill of Sale and it does not state any fees of $995 and $895. The dealership and I agreed to a purchase price of $24,500.00 for the car, and not $26,390.00, clearly and overpayment of $1,890.00. The sales tax is also incorrect. The sales tax should have been $1,960.00 and not $2,342.11, another overpayment of $382.11, totaling $2,342.11 that I overpaid them. The bill of sale has a total amount of $29,082.11, but it should have been $26,810.00 for everything. It looks like there is fraud committed here! I do have all the proofs and the prints out of the cargurus.com website advertisement for the car, the texting with the dealer, the phone calls, and the bill of sale.Customer response

I purchased a ***************************************** May of 2022 first the transmission had to be changed. It cost **** to change YES gave me 900 dollars and forced me to sigh a waiver I had no choice. The car had bad brakes I had to pay 350 to fix the car now I have an engine leak. Anew engine cost **** dollars. They put the car through an inspection before I left how could it have passed the inspection they are liars when I went back to pick up the 900 dollar check the person that sold me the car was very apologetic. What can be done about this? Thats not fair. Thank youCustomer response
