Bought a stone for my mother over a year ago and nothing. No photo of what the stone will look like. Will not answer calls at 3 different numbers. Will not take messages, mailbox full. At my endBusiness response

With less than two weeks until Memorial Day, my phones are busy. Normally there are two people in this office,however, currently we are completing work in the cemetery and I am frequently left alone. When clients are inthe office, I do not interrupt them to answer the phone. I do, however, try to return all calls when I am free.On October 5, 2022, Ms. **** came into my office to order a bronze plaque for her mother. If she checks her order, she will see that it is dated October 5, 2022, and her credit card bill will show that her credit card was also charged on that date. The marker has been ordered and until it arrives from the foundry, my hands are tied. We have written to Ms. **** and sent her a refund. When her memorial comes in, we will notify her and she will have the option to purchase it or take her business elsewhere.Over the past three years, as a result of covid, our industry has experienced supply-chain chainproblems that were literally unprecedented. This has been a hardship for every company and theGeorge E. Hoare Memorial Co., Inc. is not an exception. Currently, everything is beginning to returnto normal and as a result, we are working to catch up. We appreciate Ms. *****s patience.For over one hundred thirty-four years, the George E. Hoare Memorial Co., Inc. has been designing and building quality memorials throughout New York State and Pennsylvania. Just going to move on and find another way to find my mother a stone. If I return to their company it will now be a increased cost for a job they never did and claimed to in the first place. I was told my order was on the work bench of a older man claiming to be assembling the stones. Sharron claimed it was probably at the cemetary getting ready for installation. Then with the returned check to blame covid and inform me they don't even have a stone or a proof of what it will look like? Just discusted and angry that my mothers grave has no marker for another year and the cost is now going to likely be doubled.Business response

Response taken by phone: The marker came in a week after and when I contacted the consumer she no longer wanted it.
