I purchased my vehicle from the company. I put down $4,000 for the car, I drove the vehicle for a few weeks with no issues. One day while driving on the highway my vehicle stopped in the middle of the highway while driving 65 mph. I pulled to the side of the highway contacted Elm and explained to them what happened. I dropped the car off as soon as I arrived back into town. My car could not be service for a few days, so I left the vehicle in the parking lot of the company. After a few days, my car was returned to me, about 1-2 days after receiving my car back my check engine light was on, and my engine was making a ticking noise along with a roaring noise that came from the back towards the door. I called the office again where I spoke with someone named "Ashley" who told me they did all they could. My car had a recall which I took to ******* *** ******** where my car was "fixed". I am still currently dealing with this issue and would like to either receive my money back and turn theBusiness response

We could not duplicate Customers concern and advised them that if it happens again they should take it to a ******* dealership for more in depth diagnosis.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards, ****** ******* I am not satisfied because of my complaint issue has been ignored after going there twice. I have taken my car to the ******* dealership where I was told to take it and the issue with the knocking noise is still continuing after I had the recall adjusted. I have called and asked to speak to managers and I have went without a vehicle for a long time, I have complained about receiving my car back with the check engine light on which was not on when I originally dropped my vehicle off. I am asking to just receive my money back and assist me with giving the vehicle back so I can purchase a reliable vehicle. My life was in complete danger when my car stopped in the middle of the highway. I felt like I was taken as a joke because I still had to wait almost a week to even have my vehicle looked at. My safety of my child and myself are my biggest concern and yet no one is taking my complaints serious, I have reached out, asked around took all the steps needed in order to have my issue fixed. I do not feel comfortable asking for my car to be checked out again because I do not want to hear that basically I am “Crazy”Business response

The vehicle needs to go to the ******* dealership for further diagnosis, they have more technical experience to diagnose/repair a ******* than we do. Also, the customer has an extended warranty that should cover the cost of the repairs if it's not covered by the manufacturer.
