I got my car towed their due to the ball joint braking on my car on the highway. I particularly choose this place as a good friend and customer of theirs referred me. After waiting three hours the owner himself **** approached me to tell me his mechanic looked at the car and said I need to replace the upper and lower control arms, new ball joints, sway bar links, tie rod ends axle which is pretty much the whole steering assembly for that side of the car. I knew I was getting ripped off as the only thing that broke was the lower ball joint as I have done aot of repairs on cars in the past. So I requested a written estimate which i paid for even though there is a sign saying free estimates but was charged anyway and had the car to be towed to my house. Now I was given a receipt for the towing on it in exact words "i guesstimate over **** to fix with no break down of labor or parts and towed to customers house. I was told they would email me the break down later that day. No email came in which I called the next day and was told **** is the only one that does estimates and he is away for 3 days. I call 3 days later and was told he is out of the office for the day but I was hearing giggling In the background. I called everyday for the next week and a half and finally **** comes to the phone which he tells me that I have to pay for the written estimate which I told him I did already. His response then was he doesn't remember the car and I will have to bring the car back in to evaluate. I said that's impossible since as you know the car was towed to my house and is not drivable till it get fixed. **** then informed me that he is not gonna waste his time writing another estimate since he knows I am not gonna take my car to him to get fixed which I responded with how he is treating his customers I wouldn't take my car there to be fixed and said that I want what I paid for. **** then said he doesn't have time for this and hung up. Shady business with dishonest mechanics.
