    My first visit to Grey Cottage LLC Pet Spa and Boutique was on January 18th. After searching for a groomer that took cats, which is few and far between. Groomers are slowing starting to take cats. I was thrilled to find Grey Cottage. The cost is $10.00 for a nail trim. It was a perfect fit. The distance and price were GREAT! I made my second appt for March 14th, shortly after my first appt. I arrived today. They started clipping their nails. The entire visit took less than 8 minutes. The owner takes the payments. She stated it was $30.00 dollars, which was communicated after my cats' nails were clipped. There were no signs up stating there was a price increase, and nothing said until after the service was done. I stated the price went up. I paid. The owner asked how I wanted my receipt. I stated please text me. I checked to see if I received my receipt. I had not. When I got home, I looked up the price of a nail trim on the website. The price is $10.00/ nail trim. It was also that price when I booked the appt. I sent a text asking for my receipt. Then I sent another text about the nail pricing with a picture from the website with the $10.00 price for nail trim. And I was charged $15 and to please explain. I most likely will not hear back as I have sent other texts asking a question about scheduling and why it was grayed out the second half of the year. I never heard back. I had to ask when I went to my cats' appointment today: that text was sent on 2/14/24. When you send a text you never hear back. There is no communication before they started trimming their nails about the price increase It should have been handled: stating with your next visit the price will be $15.00 for nail trims as the price is increasing. And I should have been charged the $10.00 for each cat as it still reflects on their website. That is good honest business and customer service. It is very disappointing. I feel that I was charged what they wanted to charge me. Star ranking business practice
