To whom it may concern, On February 26,2024,I was actually given an appointment by East Coast Audiology and Physical Therapy, located at 544 Towne Drive, Fayetteville,NY 13066 without my consent. On February 27,2024,I received an email stating because of my complaints during my first visit which was in July of 2023 to go elsewhere.I have included the email. The reason that I had contacted East Coast Audiology and Physical Therapy again in February of 2024,was to request another physical therapist which they did have on board.East Coast Audiology and Physical Therapy is a privately owned facility by Joel G*******.This is a violation of a Patient's Bill of rights and just another unethical, unprofessional, and discriminating negative reflection of healthcare towards people who are recipients of Medicaid.I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, ****** ******* Hello ******, After speaking with the therapist that you were scheduled with in July we decided it would be best if you were treated at another facility. I will call the referring provider and let them know so they can refer you elsewhere.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us. It's important for us to address any issues promptly and transparently. Firstly, we want to clarify that appointments are always scheduled with the explicit consent of our patients. We prioritize clear communication and respect for individual preferences in all our interactions. Regarding the email you received about discontinuation of services and seeking physical therapy services elsewhere, it's crucial to emphasize that our decision was made to uphold a safe and respectful environment for all involved. We have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful or abusive behavior towards our staff. Such behavior compromises our ability to provide quality care and is not conducive to a positive therapeutic relationship. We want to assure you that our practice does not discriminate based on insurance coverage or any other factor. We are committed to providing excellent care to all patients, regardless of their insurance status. In fact, we take pride in being one of the few practices in the area that accepts Medicaid, underscoring our dedication to equitable healthcare access. While we understand your frustration, it's imperative to maintain a level of mutual respect and professionalism in all interactions. We value constructive feedback and are open to discussing your concerns further. However, we cannot condone behavior that undermines the well-being of our staff or compromises the quality of care we provide. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We remain committed to ensuring a positive and respectful experience for all our patients and staff members alike.

The rebuttal from East Coast Physical Therapy is very easy to see the dishonest retaliation in how people who receive Medicade are constantly mistreated, exploited, etc for the benefit of the unprofessional providers.
