I am attaching the description of the situation as there's not enough space to fit it here. Summary: We need to repair the damages to our instrument inflicted by the Magic Piano Movers (Steinway K52, $40,000; moved on September 7) and for them to take responsibility for the damages. We got 3 estimates ($1,500 - $3,000) and will work with the least expensive estimate of $1,500 and we need the Magic Piano Movers to cover the difference between the cost of repairs and the balance for the move: $1,500 - $550 = $950.Sherzod insists he would only pay for his person to repair the damages yet he refused to provide his repair persons name or contact info, saying that this person doesnt have time for back and forth, but can come and fix everything in 30 mins which makes us suspicious because of lack of transparency and common standard of practice. Our estimates all said that repairs would take over 2 3 days to allow proper setting and drying time, and layers of work.
