Owner treats his customers terribly. My wife and I were struck by lightning July 1st 2023 and the owner that lives on site could have cared less. The end result was we weren’t welcome back for 2024 because I made it known that we were disappointed he reached out to nobody to see if they were ok. He used filthy language in front of my kids and tries to shut people up by making threats.

My husband and myself were struck by lightning on July 1, 2023, at the campground. Where we have been Seasonal campers for 12 years, with no issues at all. What we did end up with was being thrown out. My daughter found both and myself and husband lying on our deck. My husband did call him out for not checking in with us as he lives on site. He has our email, phone numbers, and what Site we are on. He drove by us a few days after it happened and looked the other way. When we did not get a renewal of a contract, we went to ask him why? Our kids were with us and told us that being struck by lightning was no big deal! Then went on to say that we are miserable ***** and telling us we can get the **** out now and I don't need your ********. Nice language to use in front of the kids. This owner should not be running a "family" campground where children are at!!!

Actually, I wish there was thumbs down for reviews as well. Because that is what this place would get. As long as your a year around camping family, they treat you well. The common campers that don't frequent it often, are not treated so well. It looks kid friendly, but apparently only for their "groupies ". My husband and I were there and had a few grandchildren with us. I had taken the kids to the pool. There is a fence around the pool...2 of them had gone in before me and I was holding the door for the third one. The guy that takes care of the pool, SCREAMED , and asked who was with these 2 kids. I said I was. He SCREAMED that I was to be on that side of the fence. I told him I was holding the door for my other grandcild. He then proceeded to say that there is no jumping in the pool and that my granddaughter has jumped. She said"no I didn't". He then SCREAMED again right over her and said "YES YOU DID ! DON'T YOU LIE ! THE NEXT TIME, YOU'LL BE KICKED OUT ! ( mind you, my granddaughter is 8 years old). He scared her. She got out of the pool and came over to me crying and said " I want to go, I dint want to be here". I let the boys swim for a while and then we left. I was devastated to think that " a supposedly ", grown man would speak to a child this way. There certainly was a better , more professional way of handling this. We ended up leaving the campground before our time was up. We didn't need to be disrespected. I stopped and told them that we were leaving and why. All the guy said was, OK. I have read previous reviews and there was one that had said they had a bad experience there as well and they had gotten a letter, stating that they couldn't go back. Well today, I got a letter just like that. I'm not surprised because they are very unprofessional. I wasn't planning on ever going back anyways, but this is ust a down right rude and unprofessional way of running a place.
