I hired Gugino to take out our old bath tub and vanity and install a new bath/shower and vanity. Our old tub was installed incorrectly and leaked into our kitchen. They hired a subcontractor without our knowledge to do the majority of the work. The work took much longer than estimated, there was no communication between them and us, or them and the subcontractor. The contractor left nails, pipes, wood, broken tile, vanity mirror, and garbage all over the bathroom. Once they finished the bathtub we noticed that the tub drain plug did not competely plug the drain and would empty the tub within 15 minutes. When called to discuss with them, they had no explanation and did not come to look at it. After a few weeks, the vanity was installed also, but we discovered that if the vanity and tub are used at the same time or too close in timing, it leaks into our kitchen in a different spot than our old tub leaked. I had them come to check it out on 11/22/2021 and they told me that it must be "the old pipes" and not their work (despite this never being an issue before they installed the vanity. They said they would have someone come later in the day or the next day (11/23) to look at taking out the ceiling to see why it was leaking. I have not heard back from them since. It is the main vanity in he house so I'm concerned with any damage that is being caused by their work.
